Ok guys I haven’t played GAROU since the last time we got together so Im a little rusty, and to make things worst I got a money match against JUSTIN WONG. Since Im not getting practice till sunday, Im going all at it from the begining. Also since we need to practice like in the tourney, Im suggesting we use the rules that they are going to apply. 2/3 rounds, 60 sec timer, and NO secret characters. Come on guys we need to take it for reals, MAGICIAN if you really want to play your cheapness, maybe we can do it a little.

Man, you guys SERIOUSLY need to let everyone know whatz up w/ the bosses… itz almost ridiculous. I’d understand it of other games, but in this one they are MORE THAN fair game (at least if you’re play’n a legit version). Hopefully the weather gets a little better by show time.

The bosses aren’t cheap compared to some of the other characters. People see those combo vids and see Grants BS infinite, which he doesn’t have in the real game, and say he’s broken , or the game is broken.
Oscar, what are the rules for the Garou tourney at TS5?
Pretty much, Garou will be a standard 2/3 rounds, 2/3 games double elim tournament. Grand finals 3/5 games. Hadn’t heard of any characters being banned from Garou tournaments, so none will be banned here, any glitches that can freeze or reset the game are banned. Cash split 70/20/10. Yea I was going to cry for a second if TS5 banned boss character…no Kain power…but they aren’t which is good ha. I hate how people ban the boss character because of those bs combo videos with infs. I can’t wait to meet up I’m so eager to show every my new Kain…and some new tricks here and there. Yea I heard about the Justin vs Oscar match…that should be real hot. what does he do… plays turtle and does Guard Cancel? All he does for us, is he makes the Japanese players look better than before, and us as laughing stocks… CLASSIC EXAMPLE: evo 2k4 vs. Daigo… that’s all i need to say.
Heh heh. Yeah, I heard he plays some SNK games, but WTF said hez the best in the US? I’m not say’n hez good or bad or anything, but I really don’t know how one can make that claim (esp of ALL SNK games). I did hear that he won some tourneys, but if they’re the 10 people type then that doesn’t really say all too much. Of course, what does count is that he actually got out there and entered tourneys and won.
It doesn’t matter how good you are in your own little world if you don’t travel and beat down on others (something that seems unfortunately characteristic of the SNK Comm). I’m not in a situation where I can be do’n a lot of travel’n at the time be’n (I guess you can kind of say I’m guilty too 
), so I’m pretty much gonna have to wait till he comes around my neck of the woods. Hopefully I’ll get to see what hez got at Evo2K5.
I’m just hope’n that for those of you who ARE able to travel, that you make it worth while for everyone and really BEAT DOWN on your competition whereever you may go. Just a couple more days guys. I hope you’re ready!

BTW NOCTURNAL are you going to the FEB 26 tourney, that will be good practice before the tourney. Also does anybody have a 4pin firewire cable. cause I just bought a digital camcorder and I need that to hook it up to the computer.
I might be able to but I dont know right now…since I just recently got a new job. Suppose to start it this next wednesday…so I’ll soon know what my schedule will be like. Then if hopefully I get weekends off then I’ll make it for sure…sounds like it will be a lot of fun. Dont know who says he’s the best SNK player in the US. If I went to TS5, I’d take everyone’s money in Garou, cause I’m the shizzle dizzle…see, its very easy to say that, but I know I can’t do that(although, I know I can take some peoples money)…not unless I point a gun to everyones dome.
So what are we gonna buy to feast on at the next meet people? I gotta take my change and turn it into cash, cause I have $7 in change and $2 in cash.

OK some bull shit just came up, I just got a call from work and they want me to come in on sunday :lame: . I manage to get them to let me leave at 7pm, so we might need to make some changes. The only good thing will be that I’ll be able to bring chicken after :pleased:
