So who sucks more: PSN or Xbox 360 SF4 players?

well from just a 360 perspective, most people suck. i don’t know how many CM tournys i played through where the whole thing were scrub kens and ryus.

Honestly I don’t see much difference in skill level for most G2 competition between 360 and PS3 but I see alot more scrubs on the 360 but the user base is larger so it’s expected.
I don’t get as many “Unable to play” on the 360 as I do on the PS3 but I noticed that it loves to pair me up with people i’ve played already over and over again on the 360. It gets kinda old really.

connecting to games are much easier with xbl, but seems to lag alot more.

as for competition… i find playing style to differ more than skill level. psn players tend to grab more, imo.

loooooool, I think Indian Guy 2 sucks the most for making retarded threads like this.

I have both copies and notice that my ps3 is a bit laggier online when playing SF4 and has more unable to play. The 360 seems to have less lag and the game is playable for me online when I do get an unable to play it is usuall because the game is already full.

psn has better competition, but i play more on xbox live since i dont get any disconnecting problems unlike psn i always get disconnections issues.

360 > more players, better online lag > comes at a price

PSN > less players, apparently better competition though > free > more lag.

I just got the game on 360 as well as PS3 and I have to say, the rumours about it being full of 12 year old idiots seems to be true (never really played online on my 360 before).

The first guy I beat (Ken ofc.) invited me to a party afterwards - I was thinking “Maybe he wants a rematch” - All he did was shout abuse down the mike at me: “You are a shitty Balrog, all you know how to do is block!”, I replied: “It beat you didn’t it?”.

I think I will enjoy XBL more if all the players are such bad losers!

I love it when someone is a bad loser. You get to tell the to go home and be a family man. Trash talking a poor loser is actually pretty fun!

I’ve only played the PS3 version one time, and I didn’t play it online. My friend on the other hand owns it and said that he hardly ever gets a playable match.

Snaake’s mom…

Just adding my thoughts now that I have had time to paly a bit more on the XBL version.

I find a lot more games, and it is generally more stable. I also seem to be able to pull off better combos and links than on PSN, but that might just be psychological.

Hmmm.

Hi everyone, i’m new here.

SSII HD Remix:

I have the HD Remix PS3 version, the competition level is very high, HD Remix in the online mode before patch sucked big time!, but after the patch, everything is muuuuuch better now, the lag issues aren’t a big problem now, sometimes we have some problems but isn’t that common as before.

The PSN has less users, but theres a lot of tough players in HD Remix, the skills are very very high.

SF IV:

I think the problem is Capcom, they should fix that problem, PSN is ok, i play other online games(Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, CoD4, CoD5, etc etc) and everything is fine!, Capcom is focused in Live, they have the PSN in a second place.

i’ve played the 360 version just once and was very good!, better graphics definition, and the pad is more confortable(it takes some time to get used to it) than the ps3 pad.

Greetings.

gtfo. xb pad better than ps3? the original one? thats a first.

believe it or not.

i’ve been playing with sony consoles since 1997, and yes, the 360 D-Pad IN MY OPINION is better than the PS3 D-Pad.

don’t get me wrong, ps3 is my favorite console, but i’m being honest.

I played on PSN last night for the first time and the comp is about the same from what I saw. There is not a whole lot of difference in the comp but XBL definitely has more people and, from my limited experience on PSN, better connections.

So why haven’t you added me yet hommie?:nono: I think xblive has more players and it has a lot of top players, but psn has good players also. I haven’t fought a good rose, feilong, or gen on 360 yet. I’m a 360 noob and until my stick get’s fixed I won’t be on 360.:bluu: Ya’ll can catch me on ps3.:karate:

I will say there are suttle differences from ps3 and 360. SF4 looks better on the ps3 imo. The timing is a little different between, but i’m getting use to both now that I have a 360. It’s not noticable once you get use to it imo. Some of the attacks wiffing on 360, but I never get that on the ps3 version. The whole crouching shorts missing after a crossup never happens on ps3 when I play, but it’s happen a couple of times on 360 for me.

I will say overall the skill level is better on 360 only because most of the top players have 360. The bottom of the barrel are the same scrubs. I’ve played guy’s on ps3 and 360 that have 14,000 gp’s and they can’t even dp unless it’s on wake up. I know gp don’t mean shit. I’m just saying that both systems have their share of FLOWCHART scrubs. Just enjoy playing the game, because to tell you the truth this ONLINE shit don’t mean shit anyways! No one should caught up in who has the better players ONLINE imo. This is just a training tool for offline tournaments so you won’t be caught by surprise by a character you never played against.

I can only speak for the xbox360 players the group I play the game with are mad good and I have noticed a lot of pros play there also and I am sure psn has a lot of pros also.

There’s your answer , close thread lol

Another Thread KO for Dpendleton.

i came across ALOT of great players on PSN. but the network FUCKING SUCKS! so much so, that i refuse to play on PSN anymore. i also noticed that the players on there have a style suited for the shitty network and dont use reversals as often. i reverse ALOT. and on PSN, it is VERY difficult. but…it helped alot of guys with their footsie games. XBL is unbelievably good after you’d played on PSN for a while. it handles lag, whereas PSN just disconnects you. SOOOO often was i looking at the “connection lost” screen on PSN.

as far as whos got the better players? i think its easier to find better players on PSN, but XBL has the same amount of great players. XBL has way more “beginners” though. i refuse to say “scrub”…its demeaning. nothing wrong with playing a new game and trying to learn.
