Just making myself known as well that I’m going to be playing 3sOE as well ( maybe not the day its comes out on XBL, I’m going to Spain on Thursday but definitely from next week onward. )

I’ve only played the game casually a few times and don’t really know how to parry properly ( YET ) but its a fun game. I’ve messed around with the game on my laptop ( GGPO won’t work on my laptop and opening ports on my router has proven to be impossible… lovely! )

I like many others, am coming from mainly playing SF4 into 3s. I have some basic fundamentals coming over from it ( footsies and knowing that blocking is actually a good idea - I’ve actually being complimented on that by other people I play with ) but also some bad habits no doubt as well. Maybe if I can get decent at this 3s, it will make me a better rounded player come AE2012.

I’m probably going to be maining Hugo, based on the few times I played 3s with other people, he seems to be the character I like the most.

Anyway, looking forward to diving in and playing 3s properly for the first time, should be fun.

I’m glad the older players are eager to share knowledge. Things have changed since the arcade days when secret character and match-up info was coveted and highly suspect.

XD, I guess that’s the cynical view. But you’re right in that there is no excuse anymore for not learning the game aside from a lack of motivation.
