So what did Morrigan do to Jack?(spoilers if you never read Darkstalkers Issue 1)

No i think I-No is a Gear because THAT MAN created her and he punishes her for causing trouble

sigh

No. I-No is a human. A human who can travel in time, but a human nonetheless. Ano Otoko did NOT create I-No, he encountered her during the alternate timeline Holy War. When it all went to hell and Ano Otoko was imprisoned, I-No went back in time and altered the one event that changed the course of the Holy War, Ky Kiske’s death. She saved his life and then sat back and watched the show.

Why Ano Otoko is aware of who I-No is in the current timeline is a mystery best answered by Daisuke Ishiwatari instead of some fanboy who doesn’t know his ass from the cleft in his chin.

speaking of morrigans father,WHERE is morrigans mother?

berial aensland is god …

if you read the Darkstalkers canon , he’s like giant … or something

im tlking about the mother not the father you cockroach!

So it looks like we have another blackwidow.
:lame:

You are correct, sir.
<3 I-No <3 :lovin:

re: Capcom’s succubi

Hmmm. Capcom’s succubi are different to standard succubi. Capcom’s succubi need sex just to survive (as opposed to just doing it for the sake of being evi), and they don’t do it via dreams. Furthermore, Capcom’s succubi is a race, with both male and female versions, though I believe the male versions are rare.

Capcom Inccubi is actually a separate race, who have some of the same properties as succubi except that they’re all fucked up monsters, while the succubi are all beautiful.

Powerwise, Morrigan is the most powerful, though Bilial siphoned a portion of her power off at birth (this portion would eventually become Lilith). However, despite that, Demitri is the one who is supposed to defeat Pyron.

hasn’t gotten a chance to read the DS comic yet; I’m working now, so hopefully once I get paid I’ll be able to afford that and the SF book)

oh really and you know capcom succubi is different from the normal succcubi how? and you do realise that incubuis is the male equivalent of a succubis it cannot be a sepearte race.

Capcom has their own back story written for the Vampire/Dalk Stalker games. You can read about it in Saiki’s Plot FAQ (copy & paste URL):

http://db.gamefaqs.com/coinop/arcade/file/darkstalkers_plot.txt

Info is taken directly from various Japanese All ABout Books, and hence come from Capcom themselves. IN their world, Incubbus and succubus are two different races.

:wow: … :encore: :hitit:

Maybe Morrigan never does become more powerful than Demitri. Belial siphoned a third part from her into himself, which he was going to give her, but he dies so it dies with him. Meanwhile, Demitri gets even stronger by consuming Pyron (whom I had always thought was ridiculously overpowered, based on the way he’s hyped, so I’d think Demitri is pretty much god-level after he does that). The plot guide mentions that Morrigan avoids Demitri because she’d rather have fun and leave the ruling stuff to him, so maybe he does wind up taking over everything. I’m still reading through the guide. I don’t think Capcom ever even answers who is the dominant personality, Morrigan or Lilith, and they certainly never resolve what happens between Demitri and them.

Does the part that Belial took into himself stay with him when he dies? I always thought that it went back into Morrigan upon his death.

I don’t think any details are given as to how Demitri defeated Pyron, nor if he consumed him in the process (though it would make sense). However, I think that if Demitri absorbed Pyron, his rank would have gone from B+ to S, but he’s still listed as B+ for Vampire Saviour. :expressionless:

Maybe the ranks aren’t really that important or even accurate. Demitri just doesn’t seem like such a low level…

As for that Morrigan thing, this is why I think she never reaches S:

Morrigan was a very special Succubus(even within all of the darkstalkers).
She was born as an S class noble. But at that time(roughly 300 years ago), a
struggle for power had already started. Various battles had occurred in various
locations. It was unacceptable for a Succubus child to be given rights to
power at the time. The problems didn’t end their either. Morrigan had no way
to control the enormous powers that she held within. If she were to be left
alone, she would destroy herself and the land around her. Belial decided to
split her powers and isolate them to protect her. Morrigan’s soul was split
into 2, one of half’s was closed off into a space that Belial had created.
But her powers weren’t simply split 50/50. Because her powers were
forcefully divided, they kept drawing each other with a powerful force. To
control this, Belial took part of her powers and sealed it within himself.
Morrigan’s soul had been divided into three. One in Morrigan, one in the sealed
space, and one in Belial’s body. When these become one, Morrigan can regain her
full powers. But if one doesn’t recognize their own powers, if is difficult to
sense it’s existence. Let alone controlling it. Morrigan herself found out
about her other half after Belial had died.
When Belial died, the sealed off power was supposed to return to it’s
rightful owner. Once this was complete, the next ruler of Makai was supposed to
be born, as Belial foresaw it. But because the part which Belial contained had
been lost, Morrigan’s power had not returned to 100%. And a certain accident
had occurred in the sealed space that even Belial himself did not notice.
The sealed off power had began to have it’s own will. She…Lilith had began
to recognize herself roughly ten years after the sealing. It was Morrigan’s
heart which slipped into Lilith’s consciousness. (Morrigan herself never
noticed this.) As Lilith found about Makai, he feelings grew. These feelings
were different from normal emotions like admiration and jealousy. They were
closer to a primitive instinct to want to go back to its home.

Demitri should be A class btw, based on the chart all the way at the end:

  1. Class S
They have the ability to rule Makai. The three high noble’s of Makai
    Belial Aensland
    Galnan Voshtal
    Jedah Dohma
Belial is classified as a S+ class and his far stronger than the other two
Morrigan was also born as an S class darkstalker

  2. Class A
These are mainly the masters of the noble families of Makai.
They are called the 7 nobles of Makai and are always observing the
movements of the three high nobles.

Lepe family
present master: Persimmon de Lepe (male)
The Lord of the land that surrounds the volcano Gilala Gila. He is one of
the oldest families next to the Aensland family.

Maximoff family
present master: Demitri Maximoff (male)
A young ambitious noble who challenged Belial Aensland. He lost the battle
and was banished to the human world. He revived himself after 100 years.

But I guess you’re talking about some sort of ranking in the games themselves? I’m only going by the faq you linked us to in the thread, I haven’t actually really played the DS games myself.

I think the main character is Demitri, and Morrigan is just the flashy extra character that really isn’t as important as it first seems, that is, it’s basically Ryu and Ken in the Darkstalker world. Atleast, it’s like that to me. I always liked Ken more as a kid, and I liked Morrigan more too when I was younger. Now I like Ryu and Demitri way more than their counterparts.

There is a parallel, but the stakes are higher, and they would not be as powerful without the other to drive them to higher states of excellence.

I think you are allowing your love of a character to blind you to the truth.

Off topic

Dasrik : How did Ky Kiske die in the holy war? I thought he and Sol fought alongside each other and won the war.

Serpent : Could you pm me any scans of the SF comic, past issue 5?

THAT WAS SO CONVULTED! i hope they go a different root with that storyline.

I’ll answer the question since Dasrik is not present and I’m a higher authority on the Guilty Gear universe.

I created Gears to heighten the evolution of mankind. But unfortunately, they ended up knowing nothing but fighting and destroyed everything. Originally, Justice’s daughter Dizzy won the Holy War and Ky Kiske was killed in battle. When I was imprisoned in a dimensional cell, I encountered I-No, and her curiosity of how things could have been different was so extreme that she jumped backwards a century and saved Ky Kiske’s life merely to see how things would have been if he lived.

Her curiosity is what gives her power, but it is also what corrupts her heart.

All I know is that, this Jack must’ve had the best sex of his life.

It was kinda funny when I saw it. The old man already described Morrigan in the bar and was tellin him about how she killed all those guards single handedly, so imagine what’s goin through Jack’s mind. Even if she didn’t “truely” seduce him he knew she wasn’t gonna let him leave. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Looking at Morrigan’s endings though all she erally needed to do to kill Pyron was kiss him, so it’s possible that the kiss is all that happened. Unless Morrigan went ahead and “brought him happiness” because she wanted to (maybe because of his looks, or just bein a nice guy in general). I got a question though, when Morrigan kills people she takes their souls…right?

no,she jsut kills them for sport, wat tha hell do u think
