SNK specialist wanted: help with combos please

well

You do have something there, but right now I’m wathing K’ beat down angel with no striker at %100. But they are in a corner so what are the chances of that with rolling and all. I also watched Maxima do it to Foxy in the middle of the screen but he was jabbing untill the cows came home.

try this, opponent in the corner or working the corner
short jump into a deep C, standing C, forward+A, hurricane motion+B buffering into hurricane motion+B, DP motion+A canceling into fireball then hurricane motion+A and C.
its a easy way(compared to other k’ combos) to get a shitload of energy off quick.
IMHO 2k1 is good, but the energy depleting rate is too harsh, other then that it hosts my favorite fighter k’ :smiley:
98 is the best man, but no k’, its ok though, 2k2 has him hehehe

The K’ combo only works on Angel.

P.S. SF3 is faster than CvS2.

I don’t see how it being Angel should make a difference as seeing how she’s one of the smaller characters unless you want to count Bao and Hinako (sumo girl). Are you sure it can’t be done to “any” other character?

cause she falls more horizontal, a couple weeks ago someone had that as their avatar, she just gets juggled

I wouldn’t say that it’s linking weak to heavy that I’m having a problem with. SNK games have this other element that I’m not quite used to doing all the time. The element that I’m talking about is holding forward + an attack button. I know that most of you experts are aware of this and that is what I’m having a problem adding into my game. This is what I’m trying to do.

w,w,w,fw+S, special, DM/SDM

w=weak attack
fw=fowrward
S=strong attack

I also notice that some players alternate between standing and crouching because you get more range out of some standing attacks. When I try to do this it usually throws of my link and I end up with a bit fat pause in between while I’m still hitting buttons. Super cancelling almost seems impossible with some characters. I don’t know why but it just does. But it is alot easer on MOTW for some reason. Or is it just me?

It’s a bug and only Angel can get hit by moves that normally don’t juggle. Example, K’s dp A is supposed to hit only once, but on Angel, it can be done 3 times.

May Lee has a similiar bug like Angel, but isn’t as bad as Angel.

Many things only work on Angel, try doing Maxima’s df C on a jumping Angel and she’ll be juggled forever.

What about Foxy, does she also fall prey to the bug?

Foxy has a different bug, its unblockable as well. when u near opp do dwn b, then dwn d or c. timing is very crucial. what it does is foxy hits the opp twice with just one b. even if they block the first dwn b, they’ll get hit by the second d or c. u can combo this thing alone, just keep the timing right as u do dwnb, then dwn c or d. i was able to get 8 hits total with this bug, maybe u can go higher. after that u can add fwd-a, dwnfwd-a (might be risky), hcb-a/c, then a. if u are in corner u can do dp+a, and if u got 2 stocks, s/c into qcf+a. (dont need to do it twice cuz of the dp+a doing the qcf once for u). if u not in the corner u can s/c qcfx2 a after the hcb+a.

u can tell that u are doing the bug when u hear the person being hit twice with just one b.

btw i wouldnt do this when u play for real, its really cheap.
