JS master going im going too count me in! i’ll bring one box set up with 1 stick
Chances of leveling up: Increased
Chances of winning my bus fare back: Not so much
Well my point was you can use ANY usb controller on the PS3, and only 360 controllers on the 360. I play on a saturn usb pad that works on ps3 but not xbox. So I was saying that if you have it on ps3, you can use fightsticks AND ps3 pads/usb controllers. I dont think anyone uses xbox pad.
You can use any stick on a ps3, and any controller, but on a 360, you are limited to just the TE. And the horrid 360 pad.
i suggest we run it on xbox
you can use ps2 pad flawlessly on 360 as ive mentioned numerous times
i also believe there is a lagless solution for saturn pads on 360
Yo kymah there’s the xconverter for your ps2 saturn pad…
Ok just to clarify; I have a USB saturn pad. The converter works for a PS2 saturn pad. Also, the ps2 to 360 requires a converter. So playing on a 360 requires me to buy a converter and a ps2 saturn pad, where as playing on a ps3 requires nothing. And a 360 player can play on PS3 TE’s just fine.
ok. i think the options here are either to:
a) use both systems to incorporate kymah’s needs
b) use just 360
because using two systems in one tourney is always a bad thing to do, i don’t think one person’s needs justify making tourney organizing harder (no offense kymah).
if i had to use a stick ill just pick a charge character
if on pad
anyone will do
im not a character specialist
yet im not good
still trying to find the perfect character for me
listen man, im not trying to be a dick, but the trend in the Canadian SF scene is the very large majority of tournaments are on xbox, so you have to adjust to this. Whether it be learning stick, or buying a converter and a new pad. Those are the breaks. Before you right a sarcastic message back, i use an xconverter and a ps2 pad for tournament.
Gsxtacy
are you willing to let me use that if i have to play on 360?
im not coming to this tournament…i have a midterm
another tournament that I attend, i have no problem lending it
Ok guys, more set-ups are appreciated we don’t want to have an unfinished tourney on our hands. Things I need;
xbox 360s
tvs
ONE laptop with tio
I have a laptop I can bring but I’m not sure what TIO is. Assuming it’s a bracket generator program where could I get a hold of the software?
Watchtower, try this link. I would fucking appreciate it sooooo much if you could bring it but are you sure you are coming? I see a psn name, hopefully you play on stick?
here is the link; tio tournament organizer - All is Brawl
I recognise the program now and I set it up. I’ll try to get there early, trying for 4:30 to 5.
Also you met me at TFNS on friday, I’m the Chun player with the long hair.
oh
if watchtower is bring the laptop then i have no reason to bring mines
no worries
the one that got the perfect on me…
sooo it looks as though ill be confined to a TE correct?
i don’t mind
ill just stick to my horrible charge characters
should i still bring it for casuals even though its only 360?
also will we be able to use the projector in the tutorial room?
You should bring it just incase, always good to be safe. Though you seem to be bringing several things so if it’s too much trouble don’t worry about it.
@El Taco
That’s what the casuals are for, better to learn there than at a tournament.
Same as the small tournaments to the big ones. Hoping to level up here to get more prepared for the team tournament on the 31st and there for T11.
