As far as my thoughts…generally I enjoyed myself. Outside of losing terribly in tourneys/money matches. My only redeeming factors were almost beating NKI in ST and in Exodus’s words “randoming” out MutantXP in 3S. That’s good enough for me considering how terrible I always do in tourneys. It was fun to play against some west coast and Canadian players and the event helped me to realize how unique of a player I am in the 3S community. Just need to start winning more often.
Only issues I really had was that the food in the hotel itself was kinda expensive. Breakfast buffet was like 14 bucks and the waffles were terrible. Coldest and stalest waffles I’ve ever eaten. It was like biting into a sponge with syrup on top. Despite such the rest of the food was good. Toasted croissants FTW. The pizza place that everyone ordered from was awesome. 15 bucks for 2 cheese pizzas was too good. Nice big thin slices of pizza that didn’t taste like cheap Dominos pizza. Oh and random seeing for the brackets…didn’t care for that too much either. My first and last opponents in 3S were both people that I regularly play against in tourneys. I can understand the last opponent but my very first opponent? Wow. At least it wasn’t like Eric Kim or Eps or nuttin.
GS to all the MD/VA peepz that held it down. Even if we weren’t beasting at quite the level we should have. I still think we’re hell strong and our community as a whole is something that a lot of other fighting gamers can only wish they had. C3 is our training room for Vegas so let’s do the damned thang.
Shout outs to HOLD FAT (I can’t call you that anymore actually…too good), Exo, Shodokan 123 (2 on 2 was dat ish) Canadian peepz that stole my money and my tourney placings, MutantXP (thanks for letting me random you out…your Necro is cool stuff), J.Wong, MD/VA crew in general, B Chan for driving me out and myself for being terrible.
