True. I thought that this thread was being posted a bit early but John wanted to make sure that everyone had due notice about the event. At the very least, we know there is interest, which is good.
Chibi, the reason you hate 3s is because you suck at it and you want to play games with less comp so you can get wins

I’m actually kind of excited about this now because one of the major gripes I’ve had with TGA is that if you want to play CvS2 or 3s, you have to wait in line to get casual games. I didn’t get any practice on either game yesterday and I got raped in the tournaments…but after getting some practice, I did well against Canada and CB later in the day.
Getting an entire day of practice in any fighter I want for $10??? Sounds like a good deal to me. And sounds like there will definitely be top level comp in every game too.
I hate 3S because I’ve always hated it, I only play the game because I love Q to death. I mean who doesn’t enjoy a game when they’re on a win streak, right? You can SRK and low foward people to death, I’m just going to shove my fist into their stomach and bash their head into the floor instead ;p.
And some MvC2 / 3s / CvS2 players were playing MB last night too. Jjuice, Damian, Josh Wong, Wilson, and so on. The game is catching on man. You know I’m going to bug you to let me hold that shit at ECC, and come Evo I can see it getting some big numbers easy.
Besides which, I enter every 3S tournament even if I suck, so it’s a moot point really.
I’m confused. Who exactly is running this? Alex or DSP/Bacardi?

Yea its a combination of me barcadi and DSP to get something going for everyone. From there we will see about having something bigger like a large scale tournament.
