Ever watch those nature shows, about African Lions, where the old lion is challenged by the younger lion? This is exactly, what this fight is about. Chip Kidd is a young, up and coming wrestler in the NFW organization, with many observers and trainers thinking that his skills in the ring, will one day surpass those of Sledgehammer and Arjuna, to the point of him being the NFW World Champion, in the near future.

In a matter of ego and pride, after losing his match with Arjuna, Sledgehammer is out to prove that this “old lion” is still leader of the pride, when it comes to this den of wrestlers. That no matter what, these observers and trainers think, he is still at the top of the pecking order, and will remain so for, so long as he wants to be. Let’s see, if Sledgehammer can back up those words of his.

Sledgehammer has not been having a good two weeks by all accounts, he lost his third and apparently final rematch against Arjuna for the NFW World Championship; he was intentionally left off the next main event for the world championship; and now he’s got this young upstart of a wrestler to spar with that is supposedly going to take his spot in the pecking order from him.

Take one part rage, add an nice healthy dose of fury and sprinkle in some hatred. What do you get? A powder keg called Sledgehammer, overflowing to the brim with enough darkness in his soul to wipe out a million suns. Wait till you see, what sets this bomb off…

Ever have one of those days, where your doctor told you not to mix your medications together, because something bad will happen? Trust me, you’ll want to check out this new page of the SLAM Webcomic, where Sledgehammer learns to his shock and horror. that he should’ve listened to his trainer back in SLAM#1 pages 18 - 19, about the ramifications of injecting foreign substances into his body.

This is a pivotal moment, as the events that transpire with these pages, will resonate and carry on through to the third and final issue. Trust me on this, check it out.

The way your pages are ordered is kind of terrible.

If you checked out, SLAM#2 page 5 last week, you’ll have seen that Sledgehammer’s body started to alter and change itself, but what is he turning into? Then you’ve got to check out this page to see for yourself, what is happening to Sledgehammer and what that means for poor Chip Kidd.

Trust me, when I say this is an important event, that effects the way issue#2 will end and what will happen in issue#3 of the SLAM Webcomic, so if you miss out on this event, you’ll regret it.

Just before a major storm is about to start, if you step outside, you can see the storm clouds gathering and brewing. Just before it hits, you can feel it get eerily calm and quiet. This is what is happening in SLAM, as we speak. As we approach the Tower of Pain match, the participants are getting themselves psyched up for the match of their lives, with any of them possibly winning the NFW World Championship without having to pin Arjuna to do it.

The old saying goes that, a picture is worth a thousand words. So in the case of the SLAM Webcomic, no matter how hard I try to hype up the awesomeness and insanity that is the Tower of Pain match. So you might as well go and check it out yourself, to see what exactly I’m up to.

There’s a reason, why I called this match, the Tower of Pain, and thanks to my hand drawn thespians, are gonna show you why you shouldn’t fling a human being full speed into the side of a steel cage. See the results for yourself and be glad you’re no the victim, lol.

More twists, turns and crazy moments, that will make your jaw drop, in the pages to come. Friendships will be tested, rivalries will be enhanced, and the future of SLAM, and the NFW World Championship will be decided.

With a sub title of “Incoming”, it makes you wonder what happening in the Tower of Pain match. Last thing we saw was John Ironfeather being thrown towards the cage, by 'Plex Jackson and ‘Steamroller’ Jones, as Suicide Steve pulls himself out of the wall of the steel cage. So which one of these great competitors is going to take a ride off of the 25 ft. roof of the steel cage? Where will they land? And who did the dastardly deed? Check out and read this week’s installment of the SLAM Webcomic and find out for yourself.

Last time we saw on page 16, ‘Steamroller’ Jones was being suplexed off of the cage, so where will he be landing? Will he be the only one to feel the wrath of gravity, in the Tower of Pain match? Only one way to find out, and that’s to check out this week’s installment of the SLAM Webcomic.

Also, if you’re reading the SLAM Webcomic, there’s a good chance that you’re a wrestling fan as well. So if you get a chance, you can head over to my One Fan’s Opinion wrestling blog and check out my prediction for the main event at the Survivor Series, this Sunday. With a title like, “Vengeance is a dish…” it makes you wonder who’s getting vengeance on whom during the Tower of Pain match. Mind you, at this point in the match, I’m sure there are candidates, who have grievances with one another due to their actions. After, both 'Plex Jackson and ‘Steamroller’ Jones, were both thrown off of the top of the first level of the steel cage, can they get themselves back into the Tower of Pain match, and try to win the NFW World Championship? Find out for yourself, by going to check out the SLAM Webcomic, Marvin.

Another week, and you know what that means, another installment of the SLAM Webcomic, more specifically the Tower of Pain match. Last week’s installment, we saw Suicide Steve in the clutches of one John Ironfeather, as he was running full speed, preparing to launch him off of the top of the steel cage. Now you’ll find out the fates of both Suicide Steve and John Ironfeather, since in previous installments have seen both 'Plex Jackson and ‘Steamroller’ Jones eliminated from the Tower of Pain match already. So, once the dust has settled, it’ll only leave 2 participants left in the Tower of Pain match.

As an added bonus this week, you can check out my professional wrestling blog, One Fan’s Opinion, also on the same site at: SLAM - Blog , where you can read my theories/ideas on what the WWE should do next with the Michael Cole character, after his actions on the recent episode of Monday Night RAW, and their repercussions to the commentary team. So this week is a double dose of greatness, go and check it out, what are you waiting for?
