Peacock = must buy game.
Her level 3 and win pose with the cigar… freakin’ genius.
I believe there are plans for one sometime in the future, if only because it’ll show off our lighting engine so well.
If you guys seriously get real time lighting through the creeks of each part of the background like that I don’t think I’ll be able to play on that stage as I’ll be too buzy fucking cleaning up drool. Seriously~
can you guys record some online fights with GGPO soon? There is also Supercade netcode, which is similar to GGPO, have you guys heard of that?
nfba netcode (which supercade is just a frontend for) is inferior to ggpo in every way, why even bring it up.
What do we know about the soundtrack for this game?
How many stages can we expect?
Some of your questions have direct answers if you just read the thread or even the blog posts on Skullgirls.com. Specifically your inquires about the soundtrack.
The thread is 33 pages long, checked the last 10 pages or so didn’t see them didn’t see them on the website, but I’ll double check the blog posts. Thanks
Not going to go into the number of stages, but I’ll gladly repeat some info about the soundtrack, because it can’t be said enough.

Michiru Yamane, composer of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, is our composer and I think the soundtrack is pretty awesome.
Here’s a sample:

With this and the fact that its being published by Konami what are the chances of Alucard becoming a guest character in skull girls fashion.

Just a quick question hopefully Ravidrath could answer for me?
Does D.Violet have a future in Skullgirls? The Demon/Dominatrix with the snake whip, who also dresses like a Secretary/Teacher. Alex has almost as much concept art of her as he does of Annie, Venus & Valentine and she has also been featured on the whiteboard once before. I know Annie and Venus are in some degree present in the game as they can be seen in the background of two different stages but is there any hope for D.Violet? She is magnificent and my dream character and im dying to know if i’ll see more of her.
Thankyou in advance.

Mike Z said that there is 30+ characters that have been designed in the skullgirls story. From the online folders of Alex’s work D.Violet would either be one of first 8 to be released in the game or be pushed to being one of the first DLC characters in the game in the same boat as Valentine and Annie. Very positive chance she will be in the game in one way or another.
Heres to hoping they can support the game long enough to have of those characters in the game
I agree.
Those are my feelings exactly.
Besides , i think the damage you dish out varies on how many tag-partners you have.
(Correct me if im wrong.)
Zero!
Let me explain the actual chain of relationships here…

[]Reverge Labs is making the game. That’s us, and I think everyone gets what that entails.

[]Autumn Games is our publisher. They provide the funding and own the IP. However, being a new publisher, Autumn can’t release games on its own on XBLA because MS has a policy that bars publishers with less than three physical game releases from publishing games on XBLA.

[*]That’s where Konami comes in. They’re our distributor, and basically their sole responsibility is to get the game onto the download services. That means
they handle the testing and upload. They get a cut of the proceeds for providing these services, but have no influence on the game or its IP.

Yamane and Konami are actually a complete coincidence. Yamane left Konami in 2008. The Konami deal only just happened, and we’ve been working with Yamane for nearly a year and made that connection ourselves through our friends at the localization company 8-4.
While I think the team might be open to adding characters from other games in roster, they’d have to be pretty special to make one of our own characters wait for their turn.
Yeah, the response was so good from the first music sampler, we’re going to release some more.
Let’s get through the initial eight before we start talking too much about more characters.
…But as you noted, Alex is rather fond of her.

It’s a brand new franchise, guest characters will just shift the focus away from the originals.
It’s for the best.
