I’ll do it eventually, when I’m not being lazy lol
Wow this is awesome news, 50k in that time frame is awesome especially for an indie game.
Lets keep it going guys.
Your move.
Yooo Im bumpin this while reading the thread.
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! WE WINNING SON WE WINNING.
Still thrilled about this. I may just have a cigar tonight.
Oh, the irony…
Wait… What? We’re still talking about Skullgirls, right?
Because Skullgirls isn’t out on PC yet. :U
It was just a “take my (PC player’s) money” kind of post.
I somehow missed the (about Super Meat Boy) in the quote.
To be fair, indie platformers have a long and friendly relationship with the PC. Fighting games on the other hand just don’t.
I’d love to see Skullgirls end that, though.
You missed it because it wasn’t here.
Honestly, i’m not sure platformers as a genre have a more long and friendly relationship with PC than FG (it’s clearly a console genre). I think the key here is “indie” (and the fact meat boy was a well know flash game too), and skullgirl is an indie game.
I dunno, as far as I can tell platformers especially of the nostalgic variety all jumped onto the PC when it stopped being THE mainstream genre. Cave Story, VVVVV, Meat Boy, etc. etc.
As far as I’m aware there hasn’t been a fighting game released for the PC other than SFIV, at least as far as “has a real, big time publisher backing it” games goes.
Hell, I think PC gaming has that Esports money that FGC want so much…so I don’t understand why Capcom is the only company to put their games on the PC.
