I remember tat battle. I burned that b#^@&. Trust me, flamethrowers, smoke screens, the command that lets you cancel enemy attacks, and a few other awesome commands[you’ll know it when you have them] will be your best friends later in the game.
If you think there’s something corrupted about thinking that Heavy Rain is a game in which Madison “is the only character in the entire game that is not modeled after their own voice actor… She is just a regular lady, and then they modeled her after a model, and then they made this model get into all the creepiest murder-rape scenarios possible”, then you need to get the fuck up that mountain and let your oxygen deprived brain get a big load of it (it being the higher oxygen concentration) so you can think straight.
Why is it so terribly bad that I don’t see any rape in that game?
Is it because I’m supposed to think that because someone sexually assaults someone that rape is an obvious turnout?
Is it because I’m supposed to think every person who gropes someone in their sleep is trying to rape?
Is it because I’m supposed to believe that women being taken advantage of will OBVIOUSLY end in rape?
Or is it because I’m just supposed to see rape everywhere?
I know what rape is. I know it may have been a possibility, but still, even giving you the gunpoint “rape” that never happens, TWO rape scenes STILL don’t amount to saying “let’s see how many rape scenarios we can put her in”, because TWO is not a lot, really.
edit: You’d be surprised how many people think she was sexually assaulted in her dream sequence, but in reality she happened to be in her underwear but the clear intention was killing her. I would not quote someone else’s opinions to support an argument… ever.
The comments inserted into Madison’s head aren’t “vile”, they’re meant to show that she is indeed in control of the situation even when at gunpoint. She’s calm and collected. She’s a strong female who is in control even when it doesn’t look like it.
Contrasted with the lack of control in her dream sequence, her greatest fear.
When she was with the doctor, she was not in control. She was panicking, screaming, not thinking coherently, or anything at all. THAT was a horrible situation, and the absolute worst that could’ve happened was if that junkie didn’t show up she would be dead. Not raped. It’s because she fought him and got “knocked out” (she had a weapon in her reach so she lured him in) that he ever tried anything sexual as a way to control her.
Only difference between me and you regarding the mountain is that i did not get involved into that game to the extent of allowing the rape situations affect your mind that it sounds unhealthy and borderline obsession when i read yo shit. Y’all no nothing about what rape is

What is that, exactly? A child having an abortion? Yes, those should definitely happen, because if a child gets pregnant no way should they be forced to go through the trauma of labor at a young age with an undeveloped body, much less the issue of what happens to the baby if it is born. And if somebody thinks you should be able to ban children from having abortions that’s all kinds of levels of fucked up too.

I realize you can charge with attempted rape, and already knew rape was a subset of sexual assault.
But just because rape is sexual assault doesn’t mean sexual assault is rape, or leads to rape. If an orange is a citrus fruit, it does not mean ever citrus fruit has to be an orange.
But the easiest legal defense for attempted rape is that rape was not going to happen in the first place. Condoms, lubricants or other evidence found would suggest otherwise, but attempted rape is very hard to prove.
I’m glad you’re done, because I was done the second I said there was no rape in the game. Because there wasn’t. Whether there COULD’VE been is irrelevant, because even in the worst case scenarios of hitting the buttons wrong, there was nothing even remotely close to rape.
Oh, and about me not thinking rape until someone takes out their penis? That would be because it’s not rape without SOMETHING penetrating.
