OK, then! Considering the upcoming influx of new players, I’ve decided to do a stream tutorial. I’m thinking of just doing a general one, because some people prefer to see examples.
It would be helpful for you guys to go to the stream and give input on things that should also be covered on screen. I’m trying to be as thorough as possible. I plan on keeping it in my archives for future use so please help me in this endeavor.
Pretty much the entire tutorial in the game. I’ll likely do a run through of it first to start with adding commentary.
The training room options
IPS
Even more advanced offense (low/throw mixups, left/right mixups, aerial attack/throw mixups)
Even more advanced defense (properly pushblocking, pushblock guard cancel, absolute guard)
MAYBE go into character specific things. MAYBE because at the very least I’d like some players of the characters to let me know things I can show off, so this will likely be another day.
OK so going through the tutorial for everything took me a long while so I am doing it again at some point to go into more advanced things. I talk through everything that the tutorial says in more detail but sadly couldn’t do much with each character outside of talking about them and doing the moves.

Here are today’s archived stream tutorial sessions.
First, here’s a look into the tutorial mode features along with suggested uses for each feature, along with an explanation and demonstration of the IPS, followed by a few peculiarities of the engine involving crossups and super jumps, then followed by an explanation on how to properly pushblock to escape pressure, pushblock guard canceling and why it works the way it does along with demonstrations using Filia and Parasoul (yes, she can do it too), and an explanation on absolute guard and why PBGC and absolute guard are important. Yes, it’s a lot. Starts at about 3 minutes in. The mic has some issues in the beginning but it’s corrected for the most part.
Last but not least, an in-depth look into Filia, including her normals, high/low mixups, low/throw mixups, crossovers, crossunders, movement options, burst baits, safe strings, hit confirms, suggested assists, suggested attacks to use when using Filia as an assist, and uses for each move and blockbuster. While the last one was more organized, I’m sort of all over the place on this one. I apologize for that.
Today, the tutorial stream will be covering Ms. Fortune. I had already done one for her a while ago but it was erased from Twitch because I am dumb. The rest of them are safe forever.
So things to cover for Fortune:
Normals: their range, priority and usage
Specials: same
Blockbusters
Movement options
Head movement options
Low/throw mixups, with and without the head
Attack/throw mixups in the air, with or without the head
Left/right mixups, with or without the head
Converting into combo at different head positions
I will try to start very soon so as to not cut into Salty Cupcakes. But as usual, the stream will be archived for future reference.
