the suspense is killing me
Me and Mike had a heart to heart talk.
At this stage it’s certain that all effort is going into the final 8 for the games release, but I find it unlikely that some work wasn’t started on other characters during earlier stages, at least until they defined the playstyle-balance of their cast. And 30 characters? that’s well beyond DLC, that’s cetainly SkullGirls 2, 3. That’s like a 4 year window, right? Throwing out big numbers like 30 and suggesting future iterations also requires a really long-term dedication for the entire team and, more importantly, for players. As time goes by, will the developers’ aspirations drift towards whole new projects and fresh ideas? Will players keep up the support long enough for these characters to come to fruition?
When you think about the sheer amout of time and work put into just these 8 characters so far, 30 seems like pie-in-the-sky talk.
I’d much rather a more reachable, or let’s say, certain goal of 12-16 high-quality characters for the final cast, DLC and all, leaving it as a really solid and fun title and freeing the developers to come up with new ideas for new projects.

This character is looking amazing and pretty technical too, I can definitely see a few friends falling in love with her, haha.

Is there somewhere else I can watch it. Gametrailer videos always play slow for me regardless if it’s in HD or not.

Hey Chibi, try to get a screen grab of the recovery frames of her medium punch (where you can see her head with spiral eyes like she’s dizzy) I got one but Photobucket isn’t being agreeable with me.

I like her second colour, looks like a shout out to her older design. Also noticed the combo counter has added phrases to go with the combo length :D. Glad we finally know what MF can do, can’t wait to see her in a fight.
If I recall correctly from the last thread Mike said you can’t K.O her from hitting the head.
