I have to thank Alex for something, though I doubt he’ll see it. He’s gotten me back into drawing, though in a way I didn’t expect. I’ve been rather burned out on it because I’m an art minor and I’m tired of drawing still-lifes and stuff that the teacher wants me to in a way that they want me to. I used to draw a lot for myself, but then I started doing it for clients and classwork and it just sucked the life out of it. It wasn’t fun anymore. But the other night I just grabbed my sketchbook the other way and started doing master copies of his concept art. You know what? I had a blast. I spent six hours doing it without realizing it. Even picked up a few tricks from the way he draws things. Now I just have to figure out what my style of shading/coloring is so I can draw a bunch of Valentine stuffs. XD
So yeah, thanks for making drawing fun again.

I knew this thread was amazing. But to be talking about Ip Man puts this thread over the edge. Ip Man 1 and 2 are both so good. I mean he’s hitting people with tenderizers, dive kicks and rekkas. Its ridiculous, and this is the same dude who taught Bruce lee. He’s the best.
