Hey Mike! While you’ve previously stated that you have no intention to be knee-jerky, I’m curious what your thoughts are on the first Desk video for Cerebella. I’m not saying that Bella is broken (If Desk continues, we are likely to see equally world destroying combos from the rest of the cast), but is the damage in that something you guys were aware was going to be an eventuality? Along the lines of that Peacock ToD 1v3 combo, is this stuff that you’re generally cool with/were expecting?

The tournament is at 120 Market Street, Clifton NJ 07012. They are small little weeklies that take place every Tuesday. Tournament signups usually start at 6 and we start sometime between 6:30 and 7. Casuals run before then and after the tournament is over.

The main thing I am curious to see is how Skullgirls moveset format works compared to SF4, AE, and SFxT formats Capcom has done, and Melee/Brawl moveset formats Nintendo did. Someday I shall write a epic paper on this!

Hey guys, I really want to be good at this game. I always liked fighting games but am never good. I can’t seem to do any basic combo’s really.
Even if I go on training I still just doing the same thing, except that they never die now. Anyone got any advice?
Play the tutorial, finish all of it. If you can’t finish all of it, keep trying until you can. If you try for a week and still can’t do the tutorial, you’re up shits creek without a paddle and your dreams of being the next Daigo will be over.

Interesting that you went to SRK before you finished the tutorial. Anyways, the key is practise and study. Watch videos, head over to the respective character forums for BnB’s (bread and butter combos) etc. Check out the Newbie section of SRK, more often than not the questions you want answered have already been asked. Practise a lot. This is evident in all games but fighting games especially. Do the arcade ladder over and over with your team of choice (if you quit when you get to Marie, it doesn’t matter. Final bosses teach nothing.) Training mode is for practising your execution and possible set-ups and resets but obviously you arn’t at that level yet. Don’t just mash, try incorporate what was taught in the tutorial mode when you play, and if you don’t remember EVERYTHING from the tutorial then do the tutorial over and over until you do.
Bunch of lies, Marie made me learn that Peacock could counter zone a final boss while still being a badass and a troll.

As a Parasoul player I can tell you that Peacock is ruining the game for me. So maybe try adding her to your line up? I expect she would shut down 'Bella as well.
