So, how is it confirmed that Marie is confirmed as dlc? Wasn’t it Black Dahlia? Granted, I’d love for Bloody Marie to be playable in a dumbed down version ala… most every other ‘that one boss’ boss.
Also, will characters come out as stand alones or in pairs, ala Squiggly/Umbrella.
You could really get outside the box with that character. Multitap to charge and stack electricity. Punch taps to stack for arm related moves like projectiles, leg stacks to augment movement based stuff like dashes and jumps, beam projectiles, “ex” specials when using stacked electricity, that super I mentioned etc etc.
Very interesting… That’s a lot for the player to keep track of, but it sounds very cool. Maybe when he moves and dashes, as well with the specific charge move, it powers up his legs for speed boosts. When he attacks normally, as well as using a different specific charge more, it powers up his legs, for offensive boosts. It would be like Dormammu in that sense. I like it. I still think multitaping for normals and special, other then the charge multitap one, should discharge electric to do more extra damage.
By draw it up, you mean make a picture of him doing all this, or sheets demonstrating his moves and powers?
You could use small indicators at the top or bottom of the screen showing his charge stacks. A fist for punch charges, a foot for legs or something. Makes it easy to keep an eye on and if they each have a limit, say 3 charges or so, it becomes easier to manage. That way you aren’t guessing okay, did I have 4 charges or 5?
As for what you were saying, did you mean like a battery of sorts? Doing dashes and jumps effectively charges him up so he can release that later? And yeah discharging electricity could do more damage outright, or change the properties of the move. Crumples, stuns, staggers, bounces, etc. Maybe both? I guess that really depends on how you want him to play. When I think electricity I immediately think speed, so I pictured him as a flashy rushdown kind of guy with hard knockdowns so you can get your charges in.
And by draw it up I mean drawing up everything I can possibly think of. Him doing moves, what the moves look like, properties of said moves, and I just love his design and want to draw it.
I like the idea’s of a foot and a fist to show his charges. However, I was thinking it more like a battery. His movements and charging his tesla coils so they become more powerful. Perhaps the fist or Foot glows brighter the more charge you have. For some reason I like the idea of a batteriy then a charge counter, because if feels extremely unique.
The feet charges, the charges he gets by moving around and doing the feet charge special, directly effect his movement speed and attack speed of his kicks, which are normally slow. I see the increase being slow though, so you can’t get instant full speed. The fist charges gives his fist attacks more punch, and adds some extra effects. If you rapidly press the punches or kicks, you will release a discharge, draining your battery quickly, but doing a lot of damage. A great way to finish a combo, because once you stop the attack, it pushes the foe back a bit.
Oh that sounds awesome. I love design too, but my art skills are average at best. I like to write out my designs and stuff.
Well, we already knew they were supposed to be in the game… but this fully confirms that they are for sure coming, and most likely the first 2 DLC characters, since they most likely started work on them ages ago.
That sounds like a great idea. Do it while Mike is asleep, then when he wakes up we claim we found the code by trial and error
