Never really took it upon myself to post on SRK but here guys: Throughout my last 2 hours of trying old codes and whichever for pallette 10, I figured out something interesting if you hold L1 + R1, or R2 + L2 whichever when you’re at the title screen, it locks the inputs at the main menu. What I’d like to know is this on purpose in order to enter the code or am I completely off? Help MikeZ? I’m dying to know.
hey Mike some questions about skullgirls (more like confirmations really) based on what i read. (Amazing game btw)
In about two weeks in the soundtrack should be released
About a month from now the first patch and dlc colors.
and assuming work has just started on the first dlc character it sure be out sometime this summer. (based on the 2-3 months per character)
Does all that sound about right or am i way off?
OH SHIT WE IN THERE. COLOR #10, WE COMIN’ FOR YOU NIGGA!
I guess it’s particularly frustrating because Capcom proved with AE2012 that they’re capable of thinking about the consumer, too… that was a free balance patch as sort of a good-will to people upset about balance. There were probably hidden corporate agendas with it too I’m sure… things like keeping arcade revenues strong. Maybe they noticed people stopped playing in arcades because of Yun. Anyway, I’m just wondering where my good-will is with SFxT. Why are they working so hard to undo everything positive they did with AE2012, and why do we have to teach them what they’re doing is wrong by killing a game I like? It’s so frustrating.
Mike is doing as best as he can with Skullgirls, and that’s great and stuff… what we get is a good versus-style fighter for people who love versus-style games. I sincerely hope some of his good ideas (tutorials, GGPO-or-nothing mentality, full transparency with the community, etc) find their way into games of all types, though the fact that it will probably take years, if it ever happens, is frustrating to me NOW (if that makes sense).
Anyway, if this is too off-topic for people’s tastes, they can leave the discussion here. I’m grateful for Mike Z’s efforts, I just wish it wasn’t so hard to get the industry to be more transparent, and I wish I didn’t have to see good games get destroyed to prove that point.
Gah, that means there are more places to try out this code…
Maybe it is hidden on the white boards?
Marie wasn’t too bad, though she does expose my suckiness at pushblocking, also if I get stuck back into the zone where I try to pushblock in BB I’m going to be upset lol
It could be, but I’m going to continue with my old Arcade code scrounging, along with SNES, PS1 and whichever. Tried the old JJBA ARC code as well with no joy. I feel like I’ll facepalm once I get the code…
Are these codes legit? used some of them on this page.

Maybe the 10th palette is DLC? I sure as hell hope not. This is how it starts…
Pretty sure those are legit. Might want to round up some sources first? Compare with other code sites such as Gamefaqs and the like if you think certain codes might be fake and if it all checks out just try it anyway. No point not trying it if it’s there.
That’s the 10th time I’ve heard that brought up. It’s already been said repeatedly that it’s code based.
How do you burst?
Is that a one player only thing? I only just started to pushblock after losing like 22 matches in a row to effullbao. Then I started to win one in every 9 fights when I started to like block and stuff.
He also did combos and I was like “Man, I am bad at this”
GGs to him though!
Yeah, I’ll check those. However, I am still curious about holding the shoulder buttons to stop menu movement… it’s either a bug, or it really means something.
I’ve been meaning to do this for a couple days, but I’ve just been so busy actually playing the game that I haven’t gotten to it. I would like to personally thank you Mike Z for NOT letting me have a 3 frame half circle like certain other fighters from a certain company. As much as I like my shenanigans, there’s some things I wouldn’t mind not being able to do.
Capcom fucks up because it is a really huge company, with really huge projects. When shit happens they aren’t as flexible as a 20 man team. It would be awesome, awesome, if there were a single evil villainous mastermind behind these things, but I don’t think that’s what is going on.
I think it’s a bug, it happens at the Team Ratio selection as well but then again, it ONLY happens at the main menu and the Team Ratio screen, I’ve been unsuccessful in getting it to work elsewhere, unless I’m just doing something awfully wrong.
by the way did anyone else think the review at the front page was terrible
I will say I’ve tried the holding shoulder buttons down (LB+RB, LT+RT) on 360 and they’re not stopping anything.
Has anyone else tried a dead body infinite? I’ve only managed to get 4-5 relaunches and air combos on a character post-KO, and IPS doesn’t appear to trigger.
