Facepalm LET ME MAKE IT BOLD FOR YOU!
As Mike Z would say but in a slightly nice way…You already bought the it, Deal With it.
Nah, but seriously.
It’s all about the dark background. When it’s gone you can do another super.
** When it is dark you can DHC into another character.**
A better question would be why is her butt slam so safe on block?
Why does Cattelites last that long considering how easy it is to use.
[Edit] The same reason Virgil, Dante and Wolverine etc can do supers after they power up in UMVC3
Fun games to everyone who played in SkullBats.
So when is Skullgirls suppose to be on Shadowloo?
But hk booty isn’t nearly as useful for mixups since its duckable close and pushes too far away from further. Lk is invincible assist into hold this 50/50 every time theyre close enough
Does anybody have any good advice for dealing with Valentine? I play with Cerebella/Fortune. My Bella actually lasts longer, but I’ve been demolished by more 35+ hit combos than I’d like to admit. Not being salty, just wondering if anyone knows a good strategy for this situation.
Just because you bold it doesn’t make it any more relevant to what I’m asking. You’re misinterpreting my post.
This is why I don’t post on SRK. I only posted here to try and reach Mike Z but I guess this is the wrong place.
No, by all means stick around. Atelier’s on the way out the way he’s going.
In other news I’m thinking of switching Double for Cerebella.
Am I stupid :(?
No way, Cerebella is really really fun.
Don’t they cover two different niches?
What are you looking for?
I think you, I, and just about everyone else on this forum could stand to benefit from just ignoring that user. That person clearly needs to work on communicating with other people. That or they’re bi-polar. Nonetheless.
Ghost, always remember Val’s normals are VERY good. However her damage output isnt that great, so you stand to get at least one more additional chance than other chars. Be patient, defend well, push block early. Val’s like to go in with their normals, see if you can’t make her whiff and punish. Keep you anti airs handy, especially the invincible ones. I would try to use Bella’s charge to run under crossups and just get some good space to work with. Stop her momentum before you go all in. Look for throw setups, if anything, do not get grabbed by her. It’s annoying to get put into those long combos, but they also don’t do great damage, and give you meter to work with. Look for habits from the Val and exploit them when you can.
Well I want to play hella keepaway, and I’m fine when Peacock / Parasoul is out but I find Double to be sorely lacking.
Cerebella can aid you in that.
Dat titan knuckle.
AA assist, among other things.
Just be careful when you’re in the corner as Cere, it’ isn’t fun, oh, and get used to losing the button war.
Thanks - yeah, the charge has come in very handy, especially when you follow the wall-bounce with the cerecopter. I haven’t been taking advantage of my meter very much - I should probably try to incorporate it more. Thanks, Rusty - very helpful advice.
I don’t think there is a ‘bad’ character on this whole game. I’ve seen less Painwheels than anyone else, but even they tend to be extremely good when in capable hands. I play Cerebella/Fortune - it’s a fun team. Cerebella’s reach is insane, and she has some really decent invincible moves.
Can’t speak for Double. Haven’t played as her yet.
Mike Z don’t give a fuck. He’s playing both as grapplers
Also yay, ignore button! Who with me? =3
Filia’s c.mk is -10 on block. WTF, no wonder there’s always a smoldering crater after all my matches! O_o
He plays Peacock, I think he’s used to being shat on in the corner and losing the button war.
I also feel for his full keep away strategy. Double can fuck off, give me Dhalsim shenanigans! I want Ileum! Or at least Squigly with a stretchy Leviathan stance.
Also, I hate you.
We only played two games, but man Peasouls is annoying.
I have to admit after being utterly humiliated by Peacock/Double it felt pretty good to play the solo character that my team is the hard counter for. :U
