Well, the same happens in SFXT I try and do a cross assault and pandora comes out, even when I’m just doing the motion and not mashing.

Yeah - I mean, I don’t mind too much because it is a beefy combo and has turned several fights in my favour, but I’d rather execute it through my own good judgement and skill as opposed to a fluke.

I thought you might be able to swap buttons to do the snapback when using 2 characters.

The game will "option select tag"
Basically if you wanted to snapback with Hards (to prevent accidental hard tag) even though you have no 3 person team, the game will switch out anyway.

Just beat my first Fortune of the day with Cerebella/Fortune. Switching between those two a lot seems to put people out of their comfort zone. Speaking as a longtime casual who only just recently started trying to play FGs seriously, a game of this size and relatively low level of frantic has been a good game to learn with.

I’m in the same boat as you. Started getting kinda tryhard with Blazblue, then MVC3/UMVC3. Skullgirls seems a good deal easier to get in on. (Also the character designs/mechanics are alot more fun)

I’ve been meaning to look into control options also. Using a controller, assists being X and triangle or square and circle feel a bit stiff in the heat of the moment. Because of this, I’ve hardly been using assists, and I really need to, especially with the Fortunes (and the occasional homicidal Valentine).

Yeah Skullgirls seemed like a good jumping-on point, being new to everyone. I tried UMVC3 and… It was horrible… I think I passed out and crapped myself. XD But it’s not over, UMVC3!! I’ll have my revenge!

Firebranded my data became corrupt too on the xbox on the first time. All the progess that i made at the story lost (i was halfway through that.) I figured it has something to do about exiting the game with the Home button + back to Dashboard thingy. Seems like the game just hates you if you quit not using the Exit Game button , because it can and WILL save sometimes at the main menu before, and after matches. So yea ALWAYS use the Exit Game button. And if the game freezes…then its time to pray my friend :S

I don’t really remember ALL the details it was quite somtime ago. Basically i just finished with something and got back into the menu and almost immedietly jumped to dashboard with the home+y and i guess it was still saving. Before that i either played online or the story mode , but nothing really went wrong i “only” lost my progress in the story and tutorials.(Next time i launched the game it wrote the save is corrupt delete it)
After that i always used the exit game button and this never repeated ever. Although there was 1 freeze in online versus before even the character select (kept loading , music playing, nothing happening).
So my bet is that you must doublecheck so that the game doesnt save when you quit (duhh…)

No freezes, Whenever I completed Arcade mode with all the characters and then played ranked matches online my data would corrupt if I backed out of the game. This happened twice. The third time my data corrupted was when I accepted a friend invite to play SFxT while in SG’s training mode. Came back later and the save data corrupted.

am i the only person that thinks LK double buttslam assist will end up being better than HK overall in the end? It’s uses for rushdown and as antirushdown are incredible. any blocked lk double assist with parasoul on point is likely to end in you getting a combo because of her high low throw game

Whichever version is best depends on the point character, Val gets more benefits from HK, peacock from MK.
