Why do people like 100%'s? Even if they are hard to pull off, I think they take some fun out of it… but that’s just me.
Hey Tiredbranded why don’t you put up some videos of you playing guy, let’s see your flight cancel stuff and matches online before you start yapping again, ok?
Urichinan is the pioneer of that combo, so be my guest.
Umm what are you getting at? I said Im not maining Painwheel. Sanger has a better bnb than myself. He probably has a way better painwheel than me because he’s actually maining her. All I was getting at was that it was a bit easier learning a flight based character in this game because of the hours upon hours of using one in another. Also skullgirls is still my side game with Marvel as my primary.
So I dont think I’m trying to upstage anyone here…
Filia reminds me of Tron because square jumps forever.
But yeah Magneto meets Ryu is probably the best description for her.
i have to pay mr. wizard to give me the ability to just ignore you and you alone
Sorry hear to that.
I hope your cash is well spent.

Because is SWAGGIRLZ BAYBEE!!
Besides, nothing we’ve seen so far is practical enough to affect the meta-game.
Painwheel + Napalm don’t give a fuck.
I would love to get hit by that, and then proceed to bandwagon super rage quit! xD
Peacock/Double loses to constant aerial pressure.
Oh you jumped over it
Now since Double is on the other side of the screen it is going to take forever before I can call her again
Yeah Imma just switch back to Parasoul
Honestly people freak too much about TODS. I thought people played enough KOF13 and Marvel 3 to understand that character with a strong netrual game is more imporant than the TOD aspect of the combos. The abiltiy to hit confirm anyway, the ability to combo off random hits, and to avoid getting hit is stronger than damage output itself. That’s why Wesker is so strong in MVC3, that’s why Cable is so good, etc.
TOD won’t matter aganist Peacock+Double because Peacock practice hours preventing the oppotent from touching her. Meanwhile people practicing TOD combo never practiced their apporach options.
That’s why people asking for Double’s assist to get nerf look stupid sometimes.
I didn’t have any trouble fighting Peacock/Double teams yet, with Filia at least.
But just like marvel 3, after people learned how to safely hit confirm into TOD’s and stuff that’s where the problem began. Granted we wont be seeing much content like this used in standard matches for awhile but eventually it’ll start popping up as people get better.
True. Still I do hope we don’t see anything that practical. I’d like the game to keep having many options for fighting every character. You having many different, and effective combos to choose from. The minute you get a practical 100%… then that’s the only move you will see. Like when Mike Z Mentioned Iron Man in MvC2, if you didn’t 1 shot, you were doing something wrong. I hope that never becomes the case here.
Yeah, the double assist is not as bad as everyone says. You just got to know when it is coming, then jump over it, or if you are peacock, teleport and punish.

Also I love Blackheart too :3
He really was. Shame so few people used him at tourny level… I couldn’t play him, but I loved to fight him and see him in action.
One of my complaints form the game. Get hit, wait for a long time of ass kicking or a straight kill.
But then again, it is the kind of thing a lot of people like. A matter of taste actually. I like to exchange blows and short simple combos until one falls (I am terrified of what is considered simple bread and butter in this game).
I am guessing that I will play similarly like I have played Guilty Gear. I could pull ground combos with specials and overdrives, but air combos, jump and roman cancelling were beyond me.
Soul Calibur has that kind of system. Except for Astaroth killing you in two swipes and Hilde ringing you out from the other side of the screen. Also the plot died in that game.
