I just got my Qanba Q4Raf today. Mmm… such a good stick. I spent all evening practicing execution. 2,500 EWGF’s into a 10,000 challenge. I swear, I love training. Almost more than I love playing against people. That’s just silly.

I only made enough to make a small dent in this month’s bills. It’s not enough to cover my rent. I’d say go in training mode and check yourself.

Mike, I was meaning that I didn’t notice hitboxes on item drops in training mode with hitboxes turned on. I have really shitty vision, yes, but I’m pretty sure I can notice purple squares on the freaking elephant O_o

Lose a lot, and pay attention. Think about what you’re doing, why you lost, and how you can work around it so it won’t happen again.

Spend time in training mode so that you can execute the specials/supers exactly when you want to, then get used to which normal hits (Light punch and so on) are handy and which aren’t. How they hit and stuff like that.

Get a few go to combos (bread and butter combos) that you know will get good damage at little cost, and figure out ways to get those combos going.

The first is the most important and probably the hardest, though. Especially, in my case, when I lose bad to something like the Double Ass Attack and get so salty I have to turn off the game and play Fez.

Thanks for the advice. I don’t know why but on this game I have trouble with the 623 motion. I use a fight stick, and normally pull it off in Blazblue and Guilty Gear.
