Proper answer will be that Master Chibi is a great fan of this particular kind of underwear. And for this reason he requested fanart of Valentine wearing such clothing. I think that stream showed why it’s a bad idea to try to run a tourney on a game people haven’t really practiced.

Or that the game is actually not easy to pick up and play.

SCR Skullgirls tourney was hype.

I was just about to post the same. That little tourney was fun all the way through. And decent matches once it got to the second half of the bracket.

SFxT is either very counter intuitive or it is, as I strongly suspect, a product of slapshod ill conceived ideas jammed together with fingers firmly crossed in hopes that it’ll all work out in the end somehow. Or at least sell enough on the franchise names to be profitable for the company and not damage reputation too much.
