One of the latest vids, I think from SCC, has Cerebella winning a round against a Peacock by blocking her laser, then shooting the guns. The diamond went straight through the other ones for the KO.

One of the best things about skullgirls being a downloadable game is that I can go from kof13 to skullgirls without having to swap any discs and in seconds (or minutes)

I’m so HYPE for this game. I’m sure everybody here is but I really wanted to express my support and gratitude and happiness (and all that good stuff) that this game is being made. I can’t thank the team and universal luck enough.
I feel like they’re doing everything right and it’s gonna be the game to get me (back) into fighting games.
I played SF2 like most everybody capable of moving their hands in that era; but I didn’t get “into” fighting games until MVC. I liked MVC2 but didn’t get too into it (I didn’t have anybody to play with at that time). I’m really fond of Vampire Savior and played that online for awhile. But onto my point, I’ve played SFIV and MVC3 and a few other fighting games that have come out in the past few years and they’re fun… but they all still possess things that keep me from fighting games (unblockables/infinites etc) and its so discouraging . The only game I’ve ever played competitively at tournaments was Super Smash Brothers: Melee and those were great times but that’s a completely different game haha. I hope this community will be great, I wanna play all over.
Also, on top of the mechanics being so appealing, I love the art. I’m getting sick of pastey/blurry/washy “new age” art in video games… it feels cheap. Refined old school FTW. FTdamnW.

Seriously having it available without switching disks is very nice. All us super lazy people out there will appreciate it.
Forget that, never having to put another disc into my console again is nice. I won’t need anything else after Skullgirls releases. 
I really like the cartoonish/anime graphical style and girl/horror themes. But I’m most interested in trying out the GGPO online play in a new game.
