Also I wanted to point out here something that amused me about Double’s supers. Alex Ahad said that he likes to design cute characters but have something “violent or off putting” about them. It occurred to me that Double is kind of the exact opposite in this regard. She starts out as a ugly monstrosity but her supers are whimsical, funny, and somewhat cute in parts (anvil rush).

Krombacher is the best of the common german beers. You should be able to get it somewhere.
Jever an aquired taste. I don’t really like it, but it’s a good outlook on how beer should taste.
Hövels is the best beer in general :3 But you’ll most likely not find it over the puddle.
In general most of the german beer I’m drinking is from rather small breweries (eg Potts) and thus is probably outside your range.
For well known names, you should be able to get your hands on the Czech classics Pilsner Urquell / Budweiser (yes, one of the tastiest beers on this planet and the american abomination share a name. Don’t buy the wrong one.) - they’re huge, and really really good.
Also, aussie Fosters tastes funny.

EKU 28 is a delicious german style beer that can be found stateside easily.
I prefer my chicago based 312, but love IPA’s.

its a doppelbock. one of the few legit german beers that make it out to america in decent quantities. Its not a true doppelbock but its got a amazing taste.
