There is a good chance that they’re both in the game in some form within the story mode, but only one of them has a playabel form.
He’s one of the FG commentators ever. He used to do the commentary for 3s ranking battle commentary back in the day at family fun arcade. You can still find some of the ranbat footage on 'theshend’s YouTube page (iirc).
He was my favorite because he would talk about dumb shit a lot but still be able to call the match move for move. Good to see him coming back.
Saving the Marie fight for the sequel would be just downright cruel, considering that they pretty much teased her in the very first trailer. >_<
I hope it’s also an anouncement that there’s a ninth character. When taking of moves being viewable in VS mode Mike Z said he was pushing that for all Playable characters. And I’m fairly sure Double is in this one.
