The whole point is that everyone gets to play without being eliminated through the whole tournament. Double elim sort of ruins that purpose.
I would like top cuts to be done, but time is probably a factor.
If we go by a 8 week season setting, maybe we can have double elimination as the season finale bracket? Otherwise i like that the swiss system gives everyone a chance to play as many matches as possible. Keeps the game more fun in my opinion.
Honestly winning these is mostly bragging rights, which is why swiss is fine. Otherwise I agree double elim is the way to go. But since it’s simply for fun and TRAINING swiss makes way more sense as you get much more experience.

Also good stuff to everyone out there that joined new and old faces it was really great to have a mix of people. I even got to play people I haven’t played before that were regulars lol.
Everyone has really improved since the first week of ranbats, and I can only hope I follow suit.
Eh I don’t like 2v2 or team stuff mostly because you have to find someone to pair up with and you can’t count only on your own skills. So I might not come for this one, not sure.
