Oh shit.
A less exciting “theory” would be that for characters with one eye covered, it’s more practical artistically to cover the one that is not facing the player. This way the uncovered eye is more prominent in the in-game character sprite. So they end up all having the same side covered.
Squigly’s eye is covered too, lol. According to old concept arts the covered eye is missing and you can see leviathan passing through the socket.
Disguised Parasoul for DLC outfit please.

Not sure if you’re joking, but just in case you don’t: there won’t be DLC reskins for SG which require additional clothes or items because of game using frame-by-frame animation. If Lab0 will make another version of the same character they’ll going to not only change her(his) appearance but entire moveset and animations (think of EX characters for KOF XIII).
I was joking of course. Not that I don’t secretly wish for it though.
I love the way they decided to do the plot layout. Reminds me of Blaz Blue. The overlapping details of the cannon story in each characters game, but each ending is only an eventuality and not a canonized plot. And then all of Tue stories converge to reveal the true plot once you’ve done everything else. So dope! Oh and the fact that once you heat the game with everyone Valentine, and Double’s stories make a lot of sense lol
Just going to put down a couple thoughts on the story mode here.
At the end of Doubles story she consumes all of the candidates because she says shes found a new one. I would just assume that she chose Umbrella because of her skull heart connection and what not but she never elaborates on it.
I think that there is an inconsistency in Valentines story, Marie tells Valentine to go down to Lab 8 and destroy it but doesn’t tell her not to kill Peacock like in Doubles story. I would think that the differences in the stories dont go all the way back to Marie and Peacocks friendship or it doesnt seem like they do, so I dont understand why Marie would still try to keep her promise with Peacock.
You do realize that Peacock and Marie’s friendship is mentioned in several story modes, right?
Even then, I don’t think Marie even asked Valentine to kill the test subjects. All she said was to destroy the lab. She didn’t say “Go down to Lab 8, destroy the building, kill everyone, and pick me up a Subway sandwich on your way back, mmkka’y?”
Cerebella isn’t her dad. I wouldn’t even say he’s her “father figure” like the developers claim, given her ending.
