That’s tight, almost 7 years of skating and I still can’t do them. lol
lol practice dat shit man
little kids nowadays are getting the tre flip down more and more. at the skate park im sick of seeing kids who can barely kick and push around but they got such buttery tre flips because they practice in their garage all day.
not to mention, i’m sick of “taking the letter” for that damn trick. PLUS IT JUST LOOKS SO FUCKIN TIGHT ARGHHH IF I DONT LAND ONE TODAY IM GOING TO COMBUST
first I learned 3 shuvs, then bs bigspins, then tres. now i got 2 extra tricks I can get on ppl since they only practice tres lol.
Not yet nothing serious mostly just for fun it’s hard cause sometimes I really have to push him to do things I know he can do but he’s just too scared.
Recently there was this drop in at this ditch he said he was going to do and he got up there and he tried to chicken out. I made him do it since he said he could. He kept trying to get out of it I kept pushing until he cried but he did it, like I said it was hard though he was siked at himself for doing it I may push too much sometimes. I just want him to know if you say you can and are gonna do something you need to do it. I don’t know.
I was fortunate we have sick ditches everywhere I grew up near all the best and it prepped me good for when I did get to my first mini ramp.
Speaking of mini ramps I think I’m gonna build a 4ft in the garage finally found someone to do it.
Miniramps are now my favorite thing to skate. I just helped some friends build one in their bar/nightclub. Kinda small, but super portable considering it’s size.
For some reason I’ve really been into wallrides lately. There is a ditch by my parent’s house with a bank to wall which is rad, but to skate it you have to be super careful, or your board will go into the water. I made this a while back, for some reason I just remembered it. Hah.
Such a beutiful mini ramp wow is that a 3ft or 4ft but yeah those are my favorite to skate to since it’s just fun it’s like street and vert.
Man NM has some awesome ditches this one is like 2 houses away indian school ditch goes from the bottom of the mountains down like 3 miles of smooth perfect heshing all the way down hill shits crazy fun been hitting that up since I started skating like 16 years ago and shits still a blast.
Wow nice ass mini ramp.
If I had one of those learning how to drop in would be super easy.
About how much does it cost to make a mini ramp? After ten years we finally moved out of our apartment and into a house and after seeing my big ass back yard the first thing I thought of was a mini ramp. I don’t want anything too crazy. Just a small 4ft one or so.
Costed me about $500 in wood and parts not all parts and wood I paid for there’s a lot of construction here so that saved me ton my friend said he’d hook it up and I skated a 8ft he built in his back yard and it was sooooooooooo clean, can’t wait for mine since he’s doing it for free I’m guessing it’s gonna take a while.
I bought 2 of those small 4ft plastic quarter pipes for like 200$ a pop but they blow, too slipery for my son to learn on but still fun and he learned to drop in on those but theres no substitution for wood IMO.
Cheep from hypebeast skated that ramp. Thats what’s up.
Anyone have that trick that never seems to stick? For me its frontside flips and back lips. Can’t stand geting stuck on the slide and falling backwards or not popping clean and high enough…random rants arghh!
Oh yeah? What did he have to say about it? I think we are gonna try to rebuild it for the owners. It got a hefty kink in it after a few days of skating on it.
Yep, nollie back lips. I think I just get stuck because I don’t fully commit to it. Sucks ass to fall back on tricks like that.
haha yeah I need to practice those tre flips. I just don’t have the patience anymore to practice them. Nollie tres feel easier since I can nollie 360 shuv than the regular 360 shuv.
Good news, I heard from a homeboy that they are finally going to rebuild a skate park in this town. Also that when they do the Real team offered to come do a demo. Let’s see if it actually happens though.
most of my nollie tricks are poor.
He didn’t say much about it just that the place smelled like sweat and heavy tobacco .
yeah, that’s every bar and nightclub in my town though. :wasted:
I wonder if I know that person?
Hahaha doesn’t ring any bells.
Question;
Is the only difference between a varial kickflip and a hardflip is that a varial kickflip is a backside popshuv-it+kickflip while a hardflip is a frontside popshuv-it+kickflip?
The pic was directed towards final_cut, it was the Jacksonville skater I was telling him about.
and I cant tell the difference between a lot of tricks unless I see it myself.

Yup, that’s pretty much it.
His name is Craig Lockwood, you may have seen him in a contest or something? He’s a really talented guy, but kind of underground.
