do it, one of the most rewarding experiences i’ve ever had. our high school required us to do like 40 hours or so of community service in order to graduate and i was lucky enough to be able to be in charge of the skate club at the middle school. every tues + thurs after school i’d go down and we’d all just skate in the school parking lot and i’d help the kids learn stuff.
on a side note i’m going to be picking up rollerblading again this spring. don’t know why i stopped, thinking back it was just as fun as skateboarding.
yeah both your body follows the board. I would find a video for you but youtube is blocked here at work. just search for backside flip or 180 kickflip.
I was just TRYING to ollie inside of my house.I couldn’t successfully do one AND I freaking bailed hard at the same time
I need to Skate a lot more.Get accustomed to moving fast.I Skate goofy so first I am going to get accustomed to that stance, and then Skate Regular and try to get used to skating that.
Then learn kick turning, reverts, and manuals before I go on to Ollies I guess.
Oh and do you have to wax a rail in order to grind it?
Well I recommend waxing it. You have to test it out first to see if it slides or not. If it doesn’t then you wax it up. A little bit of wax never hurts.
