Skateboarding: Kick Push and Fall

Yeah, he used to be on World, but when they all got pay cuts he jumped ship to Consolidated.

World Industries?

Yeah, if you can’t 360 flip consistantly after skateboarding for more than two years that’s pretty bad. Here I am going on almost 10 years skateboarding and I can’t 360 flip to save my life. A fakie rock on a bowl though, that’s no problem.

Ah.

How often do you practice? Can you varial kickflip?

lol
in the summer I literally skate like all day

Dude, I’ll put it like this: I can barely kickflip a 5 foot long 3 foot tall 4 stair. I hardly ever practice though. Although I do skate on my days off from work(about a 2 or 3 days a week).

whoa thats sad.

Sounds like me in the future. :wgrin:

Ah.Well I hope I don’t get stuck at the Tre Flip.

It does look daunting

Don’t get me wrong though, I’ll go all Lords of Dogtown on a fucking bowl though. I love that shit.

I think I might have been a prodigy when I was ages 9-13 because I could do a 10 stair by the time I was 12. Then again I literally used my skateboard for every sort of entertainment and transportation. After that I quit skateboarding to pursue fucking around with girls and partying from basically middle school to a year ago. Now I’m 20, 60 pounds heavier, 7 inches taller, and hesitate like a motherfucking readjusting my foot placement. Life’s a bitch.

Ah,so you like Bowls,Pools, and Vert then?

Yep a bitch and a half

Bah.

I can’t tell the nose of the Skateboard from the Tail

Yeah I know what you mean Yansoma, I never use to hesitate when I was a kid. Now I pussy out all the time lol

I couldn’t go to that 7 because it was drizzly and windy but hopefully tomorrow is a good day.

Ah,perhaps tomorrow will bring you a day of good wuck

I think you NEED to start early to become really good. Like, at the parks all the little kids under 15 years old are the ones trying shit on the stairs and landing on their faces, by they don’t care. If you remove the fear of 10 stairs early on, you hae a big advantage. I started at 16 with the knowledge that breaking your bones hurts, so I’ll never be that good :looney:

The tail is the narrow end of the board. The nose tends to be wider and longer.

like with me, i skated alot and then i would quit for awhile. now im always busy so i dont have the time to skate everyday like i want to. but i still read up on the skateboarding news because skating will always be a part of my life.

I used to skate when I was a child, and have literally not seen anyone skating since then (a decade ago). I live in a small town where you could pretty much skate anywhere. I’m surprised it is still as popular as it is… especially as dead around as it is around here.

I went to that 7 and I just couldn’t get it. Then I went to this 5 step and I couldn’t get it either. I couldn’t really do shit today. It’s just one of those days. I fucken hate when I have days like these.

I could probly ollie a 9 or 10 if I wasn’t feeling like a bitch that day, but for some reason I can’t commit to other tricks on big gaps. It’s dumb. Like I used to try to kickflip this 5 where I used to live, and I wasn’t scared but my body just won’t catch the board. :arazz:
