Skateboarding: Kick Push and Fall

A hardflip is a frontside shuvit and a kickflip. So a varial flip but you turn the board in the opposite direction, and then just do a regular kickflip. Super hard.

naw they won’t.
Alot of the skateparks ive been to people are friendly, and help n stuff

Switch kickflip backside tailslide tre flip out. :lovin:

I just learned fakie full cab and nollie full cab! w00t lol

Is that even possible :looney:

And congrats or improving yourself :wgrin:

Yes dude, I’ve seen pj ladd bust out similar shit to that. Marc johnson busts out some fucken killer ass shit in fully flared.

Thanks, I try lol

That’s insane skill.

And your welcome

How do you grind?

It looks kind of hard to jam the rail with the trucks.

Concrete is the hardest shit to grind. Rails etc… are cake. Balance is the key on grinds which I’m sure you are aware. It’s good to see guys interested in grinds etc… I used to bitch at the young kids here cause they could do tre flips but couldn’t even bust a 50-50 on a curb. WTF, get the basics. We used to bang this 10 step rail at a local high school for hours. 5-0’s, 50-50’s, nose grinds and shit. My friend bailed and hit the end of the rail with his ass. Had blood in the ass of his pants. lol, to top it off when he came down from that he landed in the sticker bush next to the rail. So he got the bloody ass and all thorned up in one slam. We were rollin. Such good times!!! I’ll hav to grab some pics of the best local spot we had. it was 2 loading docks that were banked. We’d have like 30 guys there on a good day just killin it. Bustin shit over picnic tables etc… Man, I wish I was 16 again  I’ll throw up some pics over the weekend. They put a big machine in the middle of them to keep peeps out but I still try to hit it once in awhile.

Man that sounds cool

Pics now

i’ll be sure to grab pics tomorrow. If I still had my yearbooks I’d throw the pic of me doin a melon over an oil drum with another small drum on top of it up here. You could get so much pop off of these banks. Christ, that was in 92 and I’ve lost my yearbooks since then. lol

Cool.

Can’t fucking wait to start.I’m so pumped.Summer is going to be hella fun.

BTW how much do Pro skateboarders make? It’s a question that’s kind of been bugging me.

Of course guys like P-Rod,Dyrdek,and Way are taken care of,but what about the people that aren’t skating on a corporation as big as Nike or don’t own a company like Dyrdek, and Way.

Some of the lesser companies I doubt can afford paying a Skateboarder $60,000 or more a year.

I look at Jason Dill, and guys like Boulala, and it seems like they live like bums.

Yeah I know what you mean about the youngins but some of it just perplexes me. Like, when I go to the skatepark I’ll see a kid try a BS nollie heel and pop REAL high and almost get it. Or maybe after a bunch of tries he’ll even land one. Then he’ll go try a kickflip or boardslide and just fall down like he’s never touched a skateboard. how does that work!?

Are Boardslides easier than grinds?

And what’s some of these grins such as 50-50 and 5-0 and what are the rest?

Yes boardslides are easier than grinds imo.

Here they describe some grinds and slides.

Dead link :x

Noooooooooo:

The best part is that if he had a basketball instead, that part would become irrelevant.

Well go to skateboard-city.com, they have alot of info on skating lol.

What is the key secret to ollining?? This is a physics like mystery I have yet to solve in my life, and every couple years or so since high school when I grab a skateboard I fail every time. Wtf, how do people do this??

I bought a $12 skateboard from k-mart 2 months ago to renew my quest and after ten minutes outside I said fuck it, this is impossible. Granted I try this maybe 1-2 per year, all ten minutes worth but it pisses me off so much because I remember a couple younger kids in highschool could ollie ovee tennis nets. wtf…

Iam not your typical, lanky skater either. Actually Iam kind of stout, but the premis seems to be to smash down your back foot then slide it up the board as teh front end rises right? Shit is impossible, any tips on how to complete this journey?

Ollies are weird.

Ollies to me seem more like you are leveling out with the board at its highest point than actually “hopping” up on it(Although some people can jump so far and high that it may as well be a hop).

Smash down the back foot, and slide the FRONT foot forward as the board rises. There are Youtube videos of the how your feet are supposed to be placed and such.Back foot in the little curve of the backside of the board and the front foot at roughly a 45 degree angle right behind of the screws in front of the board.
