Those are the same loosely affiliated group of people, some of whom got arrested recently (and subsequent mug shots).
This loosely affiliated group was causing all sorts of shit at the Occupy Oakland protests as well.
All other large Occupy protests lacked the level and consistency of issues found in Occupy Oakland.
I don’t know anything about these people. Are they just fucked up people who like stirring shit up and getting violent?
Fight Club is fun and cathartic to think about, but they’re apparently trying to live it.
This matters just as much as protesting the white supremacists because it gives the alt-right a valid message, "see, we got assaulted by the left!"
Recently an alt-right protest in SF was cancelled, even though they were solidly against white supremacists (not sure on their total message), they felt it would be a clear danger to show up with the actual threat of violence.
They are correct until this violent sect of anarchists, antifa, whatever the fuck they are, are arrested and gone.
With them gone, it’s back to non violent and loud “counter” protests, like the recent one in Boston.
