Has anybody used a PS3 Sixaxis controller as the starting point for a custom stick? I’m interested in modding a SF2:AE stick with Sixaxis guts & Sanwa parts. The two biggest appeals to doing it this way are making a wireless stick, and being able to start my system with the PS button. The only thing I’m worried about is the signal being messed with by the wires. These controllers have a pretty good range though, so I don’t expect it to be a problem. Are there any other things to watch out for when taking on this project?
Also, how much larger is the SF2:AE stick than a Hori Arcade Fighter 3?
