LI Joe is the best SF4 player hands down. Kid is too good, He beat everyone there including gootecks and combo (cool motherfuckers by the way) grand finals was only 2 sets of best out of 3 which wouldnt actually be considered normal for a larger tourny. This is all going to be settled at final round, I just hope that more people from cali can come out to play.

no such thing, justin is easily the most versitle player in the US. It just seemed like he wasnt himself at this tourny. I can truthfully say justin was almost losing just to motivate himself to become better because he wasnt finding it anywhere else. This gave him a reason to humble down a little and focus on maximizing his true potencial. I can say with 100% certainty justin is not going to lose again, Hes just too good.
p.s I am by no means a “justin fanboy” i have seen him play on numerous occasions against a lot of different people. His knowledge of the game earns him the right to be spoken about in this way not his name. As far as joe is concerned he was as focused as i have ever seen him and it will clearly show in the match videos. no one got a free win off joe at all, even the final round was all came down to a little luck, and a little quick thinking on gootecks part who is probably the best rog i have seen to date.
As far as my ability to speak on this particular tourny i need everyone to understand i filmed the entire exhibition match sitting directly next to Gootecks and Combofiend, and was giving them respect for well played matches when deserved. I am not speaking with bias even though i could easily say a bunch of things like that but i wont because both gootecks and combofeind are really great humans and i would cosign either one of them any day of the week.
Overall i dont think this was proof “cali is better” or “east coast is better” it was more about both sides comming together to compete and show an exhibition of skill. Some people shining more than others but everyone there for the same reason. Team Kapital threw the best, most non smelly, well executed major i have ever seen and i thank them for that. The only problem i had was the HD remix tourny guy cause he was a fucking DICKHEAD.

The great thing about this tournament is that it seem to spark the WC vs EC talk. That’s always good as long as it doesn’t get disrespectful. A good healthy rivalary is good for the scene imo.

Good times to everyone. People can stfu about which coast is better than the other all that matters is who is on top of that list. Thanks to everyone teaching me some sf4 last night/this morning and i’ll try to find some time inbtween work and boxing to play so casuals that way everyone can get better in dat sf4 and hdr.
And Combos Dahlsim mixups are hot, it blew my mind. Gootecks had some sweet Boxer pressure too. It was fun playing you all. I liked playing you too Erick Kim, we need to play some more i’ll give you a call or something.
