It’s what I’ve been up to lately. We even have a SRK guild and are recruiting members for extra incentives!
Count me in as a third person who is working on Dragon Age: Origins. I actually haven’t played a single player game all the way through in a long time. I feel like I’ve found a part of myself that I had lost.
I also played a little bit of SSFIV offline, and am playing the new NBA Jam on the Wii. The new NBA Jam kicks too much ass.
I have also been studying for my Microsoft certs as well (only MCTS for Windows 7 for now) and reading for my CCNA class.
I’ve been playing MK. I really like it. I beat story mode and got all the collectibles in the Krypt. I’m in the process of beating the tower with each character to see their endings. I’m going to get Portal 2 soon too.
Titties. But I’ve been playing SSF4 Offline, I’ve learned how to FADC into Ultras, so I’m gonna go back online and destroy everyone in sight. When it’s back that is. I’m also gonna get some wicked ass kicking done on Red Dead Redemption and Final Fantasy 13.
Just got Uncharted 1 in the mail from Amazon for $16, so that’s one more game to play offline.

Played some MK for a little bit…I have no XBL at the moment either been playing NBA2k11 this game is amazing, Jordan mode is just too awesome…
I wish I were interested in the 3D Castlevanias but my childhood reminisces about the 2D games. In my opinion, Symphony of the Night and the GBA and DS games are the best.
Maybe I’ll try Dead Space next since it looks like it plays better than RE5. You recommended Dead Nation, too; maybe when PSN goes back up.
we share the same feeling about Castlevania… however LOS is another story, i take it like a parallel universe, LOS is like GOW but with a whip and a belmont character.
SOTN is simply the best Castlevania ever made… and most of the classic 2d side scroller castlevanias rules!.
i really want another Castlevania with Alucard as the main character without the coop mode and that new features i want an old school castlevania ala Symphony of the Night or Castlevania 3.
My wife bought me MK so, I’ve been dabbling w/ that in training mode. I don’t care what the haters say, MK is the poo. Besides that I’ve been doing some major grinding on supercade 
Really? I like MK… It’s better than SSF4 imo… It’s not incredible but it’s fun and a different twist to fighting games.
Mostly playing MK9’s story mode and challenge tower. Also been playing more of my PC games like DCUO and actually getting around to playing some of the Steam games I purchased last winter
I highly recommend Dead Space and Dead Space 2 over RE5.
Amazon has MK for $40 for anyone that hasn’t bought it yet. Probably only for today.
If you guys want a good and different fighting game to learn/play, I would recommend Arcana Heart 3. The game is awesome. Some might be turned off by the entire cast being female but besides that the game has a lot going for it. Unfortunately until PSN gets back up the only way to get it is to import it. It is $30 via PSN download but again have to wait until it is back up.
MK has always been different guys. As far as high damage combos and such, dont forget games like Champion Edition Hyper Fighting had insane damage and people loved that game. Super Turbo is the same way. Just saying.
I also would agree that Dead Space 1 and 2 would be a good pick over RE5. RE5 definitely wasnt the best RE of the series. With that being said though the multiplayer aka Mercenaries is fricken awesome and Dead Space 2 cant touch it. It sucks that the 3DS is getting a Mercenaries game first.
Anyways I’m continuing to enjoy Portal 2 and Arcana Heart 3. Been doing things to the house of late so really am not to upset that I can not get on PSN since I wouldnt have been on it much anyways.
I got Castlevania: Lords of Shadows last week as I felt like now would be a perfect time to catch up on some offline RPG goodness. I’m going to start playing it tomorrow and just power through it.
Personally, I plugged my PS2 back in for GGAC. Just saying.
AH3 is great though, I just miss having regularly available competition. I’m used to just grinding training mode for hours in GG…
MK…mostly practice mode and finished story mode. Lately I’m pondering just how much scaling starting with Kabal’s dash causes to his combos…it’s crazy.
