Silicon Valley! *crickets

Oh. My. God. I’m such a scrub compared to the folks that rolled through tonight. That just goes to show online play isn’t shit compared to arcade play.

Crackfiend and his folks set the bar way too high but i’m def coming back for another ass whooping.

are the sunnyvale golfland machines getting lots of real play?

I’d like to go down sometime to check it out but I don’t want to watch three kids take turns against the cpu.

Yeah, it’s gettin pretty serious in SV.

It’s on like donkey kong down in Sunnyvale. Mad talent. Folks were scared to swipe their cards…either that or there was no real order to who got next.

Whatever the case, high-level play goes on there.

excellent, I might come down this weekend and check it out (its only a 10 minute drive). Not so much to test my skills as to test the local water and see how it tastes… no wait that sounds really gay.

ok I’ll come down and see if I can meet some people to set up some local play at someone house or something.

no wait… that sounds really gay too.

damn.

I know, I’ll bring my gf, so no one think’s I’m hitting on them when I ask if anyone wants to set up some local console matches… totally not gay…

sorry for all the gay jokes, I’m not a bigot I promise!

lolol wtf

To stay on that very ambiguous topic, we should set up an official meet-and-greet. I see the same folks at certain gaming events but personally don’t feel comfortable asking for a name and such…

for sure

i was there tuesday / wednesday and saw some of the same people, would be good to know who’s who

we also could post our pictures here in the silicon valley thread, so that if we bump into eachother we might recognize eachother.

although I do like the meet-n-greet idea better.

you guys are so gay. gayest gays in the universe.

who wants to come over naked and play sf4 thanks.

We could get a few of those ‘hi my name is’ stickers, leave em at the counter and put a sign next to it that says ‘SRK meet and greet’. Write your name, Slap that shit on and let the community grow.

Awwwww, Man! I KNEW someone was gonna call us on it! Haha!

i do. but can I just pretend I’m naked?

(on second thought maybe I’ll just acknowledge I’m wearing clothes, cause otherwise when I go to take a leak I’ll piss my pants cause I’d be pretending I wasn’t wearing any!)

edit: i like that nametag sticker thing. thats a good idea. just carry them in your pocket everytime you go, and always be wearing one. then if other srk’rs see you, they know to ask you for a tag too. then it grows.

how many cabs does svgl have? hope not just 2 (as in one vs)…

what’s up Andry I just moved down from Oakland to Santa Clara. u might not remember me but I used to come to Josh’s with dat cat Chrisis. anyway I’m down to game pretty much whenever…I’m also at SVGL several times a week.

I’m always up for some local matches. I’m not comfortable taking people of the arcade but am on the console. Somethin about it… Scares me.

I’m 10 min from SV golfland. Someones bored or got something hit me up!

Only if its a Horgy Hyung. what up dude!

sw00t! I was looking for one of these.
Hey guys I moved up here, im living in Redwood City. Just got back into fighters, but looking for people to play blazblue and sf4.

I usually play st and 3s but dont have 3s set up at my place. Ive been learnign the two so I still suck.

I got ps3 and a fightstick and a masstick. Looking for a group of people to play. Post here or PM me and lets get something started!

I wouldnt mind a summit at svgl or I could host at my place. Studio, with a 24 inch lcd monitor, no giant tv. but yeah. LMK and lets get some matches going on!

Yo DDM I got ST and 3S on my comp at my house (emulator) and also PS2 but I only have 1 computer/PS2 stick. Got ps3 w/ 2 sticks though. I’m down in Santa Clara but I get up to Redwood City sometimes.

Sounds good, isnt Santa Clara like 10 minutes south of Redwood?

Um yeah its not too far from there. You can get there by going down 101-S or take the Caltrain too I think. What area of R.C. u live in? I used to live over there I know the area pretty well.
