aLee, might I suggest that you lose the outerglow on the font type. It makes those avs look messed up.
And why is Charlie saluting so fast, while Guile is swinging his arms so slow? Those are some fast salutes. But I think that Guile’s animation speed is good.
If you havent ever used image ready, once you put 2 sprites into 1 picture, you cant change the speed on both. The speed works for both sprites. And i dissagree with ur statement about the outerglow

I’ve used Image Ready before.
You can manipulate speeds of more than one sprite, by different methods. For example, with that Charlie sprite, you just duplicate key frames, such as when he has the salute up and/or when his arm is fully extended. That way, Charlie’s frames can compensate for the extra frames Guile has in his animation.
As for the outerglow thing. No comment. I guess as long as you like what you made, who am I to tell or suggest.

aLee: Yes, you can change the speed of both sprites. Try changing the # of frames for each sprite so they have identical quantities. For ex, instead of repeating Charlies salute animation over in over to compensate for Guiles Arm rotation sprite animation, only have it cycle once. Or you can try cutting Guiles Arm Rotation sprite down a few frames (i suggest every other frame) to match Charlies. It’s about timing, and not about the speed.
Next time you use outglow, try using a different color besides the default pale yellow. Tailor to the av, don’t just throw it in there.

Yeah ive been away from this far too long. Any shred of PS skills i may have thought i had, are long gone.
I’m at a loss for this stuff now. I don’t know where to begin for anything digital art related. I try to start up, then just fall back.
And alot of it has to do with me not wanting to go back the old style route.
Any suggestions?

OM: I remember your old style, you used hidden “things” as bgs. =p If you feel you want to evolve, the first place i tell all is to look at a few tuts on typo and brushing. Then incorporate what you learn from these tuts into a small piece by taking requests that give you the freedom of creativity. Doing random brushing is cake, but to mold it into an idea is the hard part. Find the motivation and inspiration to do it first. It should all fall into place from there.
