I am so jelly, you got the actual Twin Stick EX, which is the inspiration for my Hrap EX Twin Stick mod.
That mod is really sharp, though. 
This has Divekick controller written all over it.
I can’t claim all the credit, Blk Lighting made the panel and I got alot of input and inspiration from rtdzign who was going to do a similar mod.

This is mine. I have a Fighting Edge too but am not very happy with it. Been trying to trade up to a RAP VLX / Diamond but those aren’t cheap. lol
Actually it has Voot written all over it, which is the better game.
Also Darksaul your mod is great, i have been wanting to do one myself but use the actual Voot Joysticks but holy hell are those expensive at a about 120 a piece.
are those twin sticks any good for FPS?

No since I left out any analog controls. Left stick corresponds to the D-pad and the right matched the A,B,X and Y buttons.

Every FPS that I can think of after the 1990s uses twin analog sticks – at least on the consoles.
It’s possible that you could maybe configure a PC FPS to use a VOOT twin stick controller.
Maybe you COULD configure twin digital controllers to work on a PC FPS shooter but that won’t do you any good on the console… those are fairly hard-wired and you can’t patch the games or use a third party utility program to enable alternate controllers on a console game.
Yeah, I think it might be possible to trick the game into viewing at least one if not both twin sticks as the hat/analog joysticks… with the right controller interface program.
I already confirmed for myself that the VOOT controller works with “The Last Starfighter” freeware game (based on the old 1984 sci-fi film) available for the PC. Had to use two converters since my VOOT joystick is the Saturn version. The game does NOT directly support the VOOT joystick but it’s very doable to use XPadder (5.3, the last free version of XPadder) to enable the VOOT joystick to work on "The Last Starfighter."
Finding XPadder and Joy2Stick is not difficult… What is a pain is figuring out HOW to configure sticks to work with games. You’re very often going to have to set up all the buttons and directions to the keyboard. Most PC games are not set up to autodetect joysticks unless they’re fighting games or system emulators. Even then, there are no guarantees that the controller utility program will be compatible with your PC game, either.
(NOTE: When I mean “autodetect”, I mean the game software detecting the presence of a compatible pad/joystick controller attached to the PC. The PC OS itself will generally sense the presence of an attached controller’s PCB which is a separate issue.)
I would presume that it’s very likely the same method I used for “The Last Starfighter” would work with MechWarrior and other PC mech games where a Twin Stick would be preferable to a PS3/XBox360-style joypad. – That or an aircraft flight stick assuming you can get THAT to work with MechWarrior.
An obsession with Macross is not always a bad thing… for half the shows at any rate! (Better average than Gundam. And the Macross shows really are sequels, NOT remakes of the original series every darn time like 80% of the Gundam follow-ons are for the 1979 Gundam series! Still, I like all the Gundam series with the number “8” in them as well as Gundam Wing.)
As for the Sailor Ranko artwork, I could go ahead and post the PSD file if you’d like.

Once you’ve been converted to the Sailor Scouts and Ranma, you’ll never be the same again…
(I can imagine the madness next year after the new Sailor Moon series debuts. They’re already saying it’s NOT a remake. Hmm…)

I’m a bit rusty in my drawing but I think I can still work out something simple enough that EVEN I can draw!

I’m just amazed Ranma’s actually getting a Blu ray release in the US, period! (Official… I hope the licensor lets Viz Video use the Japanese hi-def tapes.) I hope they option the 13th OVA because aside from the Music OVA’s that’s the only Ranma animation that hasn’t been released in the States. The Ranma Music OVAs will never be released in the US. The legal rights over the music are so complicated and that sort of thing doesn’t generally sell well by itself. Those OVAs would have to be packaged with something else. I thought that the 13 Ranma OVA and the new Urusei Yatsura OVA released in the Rumiko Takahashi Anthology collection a few years back were excellent. I’ve never seen the Inu Yasha OVA but I’m not much of a fan of that show.
I’ll try and get to posting the Sailor Ranko PSD within the next day…
