What’s up, guys. I’m coming to Washington DC for school in late August, any comp out there? I need to know if I should bother bringing my sticks along with me. Is this even the right thread for DC players?

I play Third Strike and Super Turbo, mainly, but since no one plays ST around these parts anymore I’ve basically only played 3S for the last year or so. I can play a little Tekken 5 and a little CvS2, but I’m up for anything. Are there arcades around DC or do you guys mainly get together for console gaming?
its all mainly console in the dc area. not many people go to arcades anymore. i know of a couple 3s machines in md but ill let shinshay tell you bout those. no one really plays st here either. there is some good 3s comp in the area. we play cvs2 and t5 as well, and if you cant tell we play marvel also.
we also play poker

Yes i was thereon Fri and Sat but not at night between 5-7, cause i was also at the DMV renewing my licence,
I was just askin because i hav just got back into mvc1 & 2, tekken 5 and such.
I am not asian and i dont go to springfield much, probably need some more practice because the arcade across the street from my house got shut down.
but if there will be lots of ppl in timeout this weekend im down, its always fun with a crowd.
last weekend was packed, but it might not be like that this weekend. I’ll be there tomorrow past 7. Maybe Saturday around the same time.
