yo ken as of right now rockman says he is going but i dont know if that is a definite. he always says he is going but always finds a way not to go at the last minute which is why i am prepared to go by bus or train if he backs out again. im sure i can find someone at the arcade who wants another roomate for a cheaper cost.

Aiight so I’ve decided that I am going. I am driving with Ken. If anybody wants a ride and plans on staying with us, I can give you a ride as long as you agree to the following conditions.*
*I will be smoking weed in the room and car so do not try to convince me otherwise. Gas will be split with all the peoples in the car. And since I am driving I will be asking anybody driving with me to pay a little bit more than me for the room because I know if anything goes wrong with my car I will have to fork over all the money for the repairs. With this being said I know this all sounds reasonable because anyother type of transportation is more expensive and less convinent.
I will be leaving at 9 am that Friday. And I expect myself to be leaving mid day Sunday.
And this will be a first come first serve basis for only ONE PERSON.

Whatsup everyone. Just wanted to get the word out that NC is having a console tournament June 18th and we’re trying to continue its growth. It’s the 5th tournament at this location in about 9 months and the turnout has gotten progressively larger. It’s an internet cafe called Gamefrog with two huge flat screens and 9 smaller flat screen tv’s that are available. Last time T5 had 65-70 entrants, along with around 20+ for 3rd Strike and CVS2 with the turnout being mostly NC (Fayetteville, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro) along with a few VA cats. We are also distrubuting a flyer around cities in our areas to try to bring some new people into things and help ensure a good turnout. We have a good size group of players and we’re really trying to improve on getting the out-of-state comp.

Hey fellas, I’m wondering if Cyberzone will be open tomorrow. If so, I’d like to get in some matches. I know it’s the holiday and everyone will want to be with family and friends, but… would anyone be interested in some morning Marvel matches? 12m-2pm sounds like a decent time. It’s a late enough start so that maybe some of you that went to the tourney will have time to recover and then show off some of the stuff you learned. And it’s early enough to keep mid-day plans for the rest of the day.
If it’s open, then I hope to see some folks there. If it’s not, then I’ll head over to Eisenhower and catch Star Wars Ep. III again. I fell asleep in that bad boy last week, and missed alot of the movie. Too much work, not enough sleep. Peace out.
p.s. My DC stops spinning like cheap 20 inch rims, so if someone could bring the PS2 version or another DC that would be great.

Yo all, I am gonna be moving to Alexandria in two days time, I am prolly gonna be mainly busy with work, but I will be up for some games sometimes. I mainly play CvS2, T5 (bad at it), and a little 3S and MvC2. Whats the main spots to play at near Alexandria?
i’d speak for the rest of us and say that MvC2 is very alive(mainly due to the fact that it is still in our arcade). Other than for T5, the other games would have to be on console.
We have some strong competition in almost everything.
We have Umtherfker and Rockman for CvS2 and 3S(strong comp, atleast I think so).
We dont have that many strong tourney players, this is not including richmond and norfolk.
I’d be more than happy to play MvC2 because that is the only game I play.
We have strong T5 comp from one of the youngest gamers I know.
But yeah im rambling, Springfield Mall is the place for an arcade. It has MvC2, T5, and GG 1.5 for fighters, with the random racing games.
