Pabs is a beast, isn’t he? I’d like to see him at EVO or something like that…I really think he could be in the top ten in the U.S., but he seems content to be a big fish in a little pond.

team scrub holds that shit down. vidness, i got to time out at 7 on friday, and the guy who works there, nemodc, told me i missed out on some elite players. DAmn was i dissappointed. anyways team scrub all the way, and VA is up and coming.

yo, who is everybody? i’m assuming one of the people in here is the black guy who works downstairs, and the other is the white guy who fixed the 2p marvel side one time. I’m the dude who comes to play mvc2 downstairs and finds nobody. When someone plays, they get worked, and some old black man comes sometimes to talk shit and lose, and 1 asian boy plays also. victor, pablo and the rest play at landmark. only true comp in the area for me in my opinion. estuardo, darrick are nowhere to be found, and i’m too lazy to go to md to play isaac. Richmond is too far also. So in nova, there are no players, besides some landmark players. my friend and i recently went to springfield and massacred the people there, it was just sad. Whats sad is that we went to ecc ourselves and got worked. that shows you how shitty mvc2 players in springfield mall are.

also, if everybody is down for an MvC 2 tourney. then post your support in this thread. if there’s enough support, then i’ll convince my boss to allow me to throw one for us. but i don’t wanna have a tournament and then have nobody show up. that’d just be embarassing.

you need to chill out, man. since I actually WORK at the arcade, I just can’t play a game whenever I want to. I have to wait until my manager leaves the upstairs arcade (because if I get caught playing a game, then i will get fired). that’s why i just sit there and watch most of the time when you are there (but I don’t know who you are yet, because I watch ALOT of people since i’m not allowed to play games when i’m working). now, if you came after 6:00pm, then I coud play because my boss is gone by then. also, I never played against your Colussus only watched it (and again, i’ve watched a couple Colussus’s so you’re just a random person)
i’m still getting used to the arcade stick, so of course I’m going to remain scrubtastic for a few weeks. oh well, nobody is born knowing how to do Magneto infinites.
anyway, I’m having fun doing my thing, and trying to figure out what characters work best for me. don’t get your panties in a bunch just because I don’t subscribe to top 4 magazine like you do. why don’t you relax, play the game, and let some of the gas out of your head. and I still don’t know who you are… i have a guess who you might be… some ethiopian lookin’ kid who was wearing some computer shirt last week.
it would be kinda cool if you did some original combos. if Marvel vs Capcom 2 wasn’t the only good game downstairs, then I’d be watching something else (it gets so boring that I watch little kids play with spider-man, wolverine, and megaman)

Pabs & I battle about once a week. I haven’t battled victor in some time, but I used to go to gametime every now & then. I think I’ll venture to Springfield this Wed night to see what’s up. Pabs said he would try to make it as well. I’ll probably get there around 6 or so.

honestly, ever since this thread started, i have played a lot more comp. The only way for ppls to get better is to be playing high comp. So i welcome comp, and honestly broham, ive gotten better comp from random players. juss my opinion.
Just wondering when the best time to hit this arcade would be? I’m from cumberland MD and it seems like this is the closest place for me to get any real comp. I don’t want to waste a 2 hour drive and find out that there is nobody playing. If someone could tell me the days/times with the most comp i’d appreciate it. BTW, I’ll be bringing Bud Greene along, he lived in VA(frequented gametime) for a few years so some of you may know him. Thanks!
seantree, apparently there is gonna be some heads on weds. Today the comp was very good. Best i’ve seen at S-field mall. Seems like the best time to be there is past 6 pm.
