Yo magneto the fees were posted like 2 weeks ago in this very thread, wtf was the surprise? Besides, if you spent that much in an hour at the arcade, where the sticks are so fucking horrible everything there is near worthless, what’s the point of playing at the arcade? I guess I just don’t get the point of wanting to play on broken equipment. Cyberzone was dope, cause we had comfortable chairs, sticks that worked, and on a huge widescreen too. Note also that membership gives you a free hour, so if you get a membership you pay $6 more than you would as a non member, so if you play 3 hours you’ve already made up the membership cost. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Plus if we have 4 people wanting to play, we can just fire up another TV, no waiting.
Yeah i saw the price, but i didnt know it was each. True, sticks are messed up at the cade, nice chairs and a good tv, but i think goin to other people’s houses would’ve been the same deal. A rec center might have been the same deal, except that it wouldnt be by person, but i dont know for sure. But its all good, maybe if ernesto victor and them get a membership i will.

Whats up with this cyberzone thing? I’m at work now and can’t hop on aim to talk to Nolan (goukito) but if there is someplace where people can get together on the weekend to chill with a widescreen and some games, I’d totally be down for that. Nolan knows me from Richmond, but I live in Fredericksburg now and work out of Alexandria; and there ain’t shit for games in Fred so I’m bored to tears. Whenever I wanna get some casuals on I have to drive all the way to Richmond, and I can’t be doing that every time I want to play some games.
Also, I’m guessing cyberzone is some sort of internet cafe, meaning we’d have counterstrike/etc etc on the side?
But yeah, if you guys get this going as like a weekly thing, that would be pretty awesome. Also if they’re interested mebbe we could set up tourneys or something?

I’m decent. I play 3S, CvS2, CFE, and I kinda play Marvel. If I recall, you went to that one Richmond tourney hosted by Li, where we were recording the matches, right? I thought I saw you posting in the before/after thread, but I don’t generally address people by their online nicks. Anywho, if you did go, I was the white guy who was behind the table alot recording crap. Being distracted as I as I lost in 3S and only got 3rd, and then 4th in CvS2 behind Rugal/Bmore/Moose.

I was the white guy behind the tv’s. With the computer. Recording matches. I don’t remember what I was wearing. I have glasses, I’m short and I’m white. I generally go by “Pat” or “Patrick”. Thing is, you played only Marvel at that tourney if I remember right, and I didn’t play marvel at all that day. So chances are you most likely didn’t notice me.
Hey not sure about times because my work is so random, but I can meet up at Cyberzone for games usually once a week maybe more. I play Marvel 3s ST, along with some other random games. They got like either 46 or 50" widescreens with PS2 and I think Xbox on all of them, and they’ll let us bring DC’s and sticks. b1g and I met up for some marvel, it was a tight spot. The cost is $6/hour for non members, $4/hour for members + you get a free hour with your membership, $12 for year membership. Not super cheap, but imo its worth it. And yeah they have PCs also, its basically a net cafe without the cafe. We saw peeps playing CS, WoW, and something else. They have games there.

n-ken, my aim is Kyrdu or Pirate Faight, take your pick, one of them will be on. My work schedule is not random. I work 9 to 5, monday through friday. I usually take the metro, so gaming on weekdays is not really an option, but weekends I should be good. I’m familiar with the whole internet cafe thing, we had one with similar prices down here in Fred. Then it died because NO ONE LIVES HERE.
I’d be up for any SF game dating back from 92. I play a mean ST Honda, got pointers from good ol Chris Li a few years back. I’d love to throw down some 3S. Or CvS2. Or CFE. Hell, I’ll even play marvel, but I’m boning up for my ECCX challenge with Tantim, so I’ll only be using characters found in ST (no akuma cause he was banned).
But yeah, weekends are good. You said Goukito was there? I’d like to see him again, its been almost a year since I last did, we should drag him too. He was around when I was first learning games, I remember gawking in awe at his Akuma CC. Then I got used to it. Now I hate it. I don’t think he plays A anymore, but yeah, it was good times.

So there i was…owning with Sentinel/xxx/T Bonne. It was too good. More people from northern virginia need to use T Bonne more often. Timing and getting one hit with sentinel is the next best thing than mag and a psylocke assist hitting you. Crossup, unfly then rpxxHSF with sentinel T Bonne. Storm, cable, and magneto can also work with T Bonne if used properly. Just dont over-use the assist, you’d want to save it for that one hit : )

The rape would be been broughten if I used Scrub, but since I figured it was unfair, I decided not to use it more than once. And that one time I raped with them. Best bet not to talk trash if ya dont wanna get caught.

Team Scrub unless I can win with a random team. The random teams include Cable,Cammy, Doom and MSP. Or maybe a team based on Cable,Sent, AAA.
I do admit Tron is a crazy assist because not a lot ppls know how to fight or defend agaisnt her assist. But once she comes out to fight, she stands no chance. But the thing is you have to put up with atleast one person before given the chance to snap her out and fuck her up. AND GOODLUCK TO EVERYBODY AT THE TOURNEY. Maybe VA will show a sign of life and place higher than 3rd. :rolleyes:
Which tourney are you guys goin to? I know Richmond is going to Fayetville next weekend (the 12th) but if there is one this weekend, I might end up going to that too.
