Actual security is often the responsibility of the venue.
Are their guns allowed in the Casino/Hotel/Convention Center the event taking place in?
Forget real guns, most venues I been to do not even allow Nerf guns.
You can quote state laws all you want, the Venue is private property (even the venue’s that are publicly/government owned) and they have the final say what gets though their doors or not.
