Believe it or not, I started giving thought to this when you said that you worked every Saturday. The trick would be to keep it from getting super messy, but it seems possible.

yeah things seemed to go pretty smooth although with more people will come more complexity, like we just barely filled up the xbox live party so when this becomes a bigger thing the irc channel should become a more standard way of organizing things (plus you can see who said what easily)…
i probably should have gotten some sleep that day from preppy’s the night before lol
speaking of which, if you see that you start pulling similar crowds, you could run this bi-weekly on the weekends that people aren’t at preppy’s, so that as a seattle player there’s always some tournament sometime on any given weekend
although yeah, the point of this is probably to pull newer crowds deeper and more involved into the scene so i can see where that might not be so useful but hey it wouldn’t hurt (well it could)

Great idea on the bi-weekly thing. Not sure if there’s enough support to jump straight to that, but the next tourney will be an off week as for as Preppy’s Twice Monthlies are concerned.
As for IRC… next time… I’ll definitely have to make sure that everything runs through IRC next time. We pulled in non-SRK members (I think)… which made a difference.
