yeah i’ve been a big fan of dagger G for a while, since the times where my exposure to the 2d fighting community was just youtube. his remy and guile are amazing to watch.
@:d: saddens me

Dagger G is really good but I get no joy from watching his matches. Watching Guile pepper the other player with pokes and the extremely low damage sonic booms with match timeouts is a snoozefest.
Nah man it’s the Dagger G corner traps that makes his guile so amazing… the gets a whole ovation when he traps someone at the corner… he makes sonic booms look chargeless…

My reason for choosing this is that it has many qualities to define a great match as well as match of the year due to the tournament “plot” it has and the high level of play thats show
The match has domination, close calls, improvisation, high pressure situations, and a rush from start to finish which imho is what should be necessary for match of the year
some videos here just show great moments which really (as said before) shouldnt necessarily be qualified to be match of the year, it has to be a mixture of high level play at its fullest extent where both players do there best to win that one match
no disrespect to any players, videos, or moments these are all great but sometimes people just get caught up in the moment of 1 round that they forget how the others went or even how the game all together added up in the end
i preferred to suggest a 3s vid since theres a lot of sf4 vids here, other games have been played this year so its only fair to give the others a chance
Either sanford vs daigo or yeb vs anyone. Easily the 2 most exciting players to watch this year.
