Shoryu?

I’m looking into ways to setup Denjin, and I was wondering about anti-air shoryuken. It has knock down, so that means I can dash up fireball SAIII or something. I was just wondering how should I approach shooting people out of hte air? I know I shouldn’t just spam shoryu, but a few every now and then should be okay, right?

Easier said than done, but if you see an early attack in the air, go for it. Otherwise, if you think they jump in, ready to parry, you can do low HP->SRK->SA3. Or low HP->LK hurricane, LP fireball->SA3.

Yeah, I wouldn’t go w/ an SRK ever if you want to anti-air something into Denjin – SRK’s are prime parry bait because Ryu will hit them w/ the same timing almost every time. c.HP is more versatile.

I usually go with roundhouse. If the jump is too deep, I’ll use crouching fierce. But I’ll use a shoryou or two to knock down to set up for Denjin. Normals are good and all for regular anti-air, but they reset. I guess I’ll try c. fierce, srk, denjin, but if anyone has other anti air setups, I’m open.

I forgot I’m looking for anti air setups because I always have a hard time getting in on my opponent from the ground. So if any one has any tips on how to avoid getting zoned out, that would be cool. (I hate Chun and Elena. :’( )

i use mp-srk xx SAIII if they start to parry then just rush down get them with a c.mk or a c.lk =/

it’s somtimes good to do aa because as the go down u can contineu to rotate the stick as they are landing because people fall down slower than others, so u could have enough time to charge, plus u don’t even need to rotate that fast
