Is there a way to lower the mounting for the jlf? I noticed that the HRAP3-SA has a special mounting plate that lowers the stick, and I was wondering if that particular mounting plate was available for purchase.
There are things you could do. Including some sort of spacers on the mounting screws for the JLF mount.
Plastic standoffs from electronic part suppliers would work, so would using some washers.

Apologies for digging up this thread after 5 years - I’m looking for something shorter as the Kraylix cab kit I have is top mounted, so I don’t have a lot of options except for a shorter shaft. I’ve checked all the usual places online but nothing stands out. Did you guys ever find anything that was easily accessible?

Whoa, thanks, did not know about this, despite having searched the forums. Turns out it shows up if you search for “extend” but not “shorten”…! I’m guessing you don’t use any shaft covers with the twist? Or can you sand down the standard shaft covers to work with the shortened height?
