She hulk smash! (combo thread)

I just started playing She Hulk. How do you get the S launcher after Torpedo?

I have a difficult time hitting it this consistently but from what i’ve found(correct me if i’m wrong) what you have to do is cancel the Torpedo into Runner Start+ S, S IMMEDIATELY after she hits with the Torpedo. Some people mash out the S after the Runner’s Start(what I do), others press forward than S after the Runners Start, but I guess do whats easiest for you. I believe the key is how quick you cancel the Torpedo into Runner Start and then to S launcher so you can catch them in the air before they fall to far away.

If I have Shulk Dante Akuma, you think I’m better off w/ Jam Session or Weasel? With Weasel you get a pseudo-2nd tatsu for pressure/mixup, plus hit confirms etc. But w/ Jam you can do cH+Jam from a distance to get in (like you can w/ tatsu) and it will combo/string, where as Weasel has a gap. Which do you guys like? And if it’s Jam, what can she do off a landed Jam? Weasel just regular combo, but Jam obviously has to be something else specific to it.

Can anyone please tell us how you can do the torpedo cancel launch? I know its not how fast you press the S button, its somewhere in the jump or the magic series what you have to time.

I know it is a bit late for posting vanilla combos and so forth, but figured I would at least share this…

Pardon the arse quality, combination of ancient technology and my old setup and software no longer working on this machine.

Anyways, this is just a quick combo for killing off the ever-pesky Wolverine and his too much health with just 2 bars. You could probably get enough damage if starting with jC, jS and using a Torpedo cancel relaunch instead of Wesker assist, so this may be do-able with just She-Hulk and Taskmaster, but I have not tested it.

This combo’s a bit too specific to be practical. Cannot use any Lights or Mediums for hit-confirming as they will pro-rate the combo to the point of no longer killing. Also cannot slip in any extra Mediums as that pro-rates too much, too. Just a sort of “what if” scenario.

I’ve been trying to land that relaunch using the computer set to jump so I can try it off an air throw. I’ve put about 30 minutes into it and havent hit it once. I have no idea how to fix the problem.

It helps if you let She-Hulk run a little bit before canceling the runner’s start when doing it off an airthrow. The window to land the launcher is actually quite large, the problem is usually being in range.

THat and letting the otg hit a little deep before cancelling, that worked wonders for me…

hope this helps! the key is to cancel the torpedo to a run forward, then cancel the run with S and launch. that extra run puts you in range to relaunch.

What are some fancy new command grab combos you guys have been using? Has anyone tried applying the Lamp Post after a grab to any success?

i run she hulk first. so my grab combos are other characters combos after she tags out. i got a mean 100% with she hulk, hulk, doom going on.

You can do anything after grab since it stuns for so long (Glad they didnt change that). I usually taunt (because its funny and probably will throw off their game), Clothesline, Then lampost into run and launch.

The team I’ve been running is she hulk, Joe, Spencer int hat order. It is pretty upsetting that so many people have wrote she-hulk off as a bd character since mvc3. Now granted she is not as good by any standards but I feel she is still Effective. These few combos are some that are my go to combos that I have yet to see anyone speak of and I’m not even sure if the community knows about (surely I’m not the only one). But the notations for my combos areas follows:

NOTE: I don’t remember the name of her down+H air attack so it will be deemed BS for butt slam for now lol
RS =runners start

Corner bnb damage = about 750k
c.M c.H S (super jump cancel) j.M j.M j.H j.S (land) call Spencer assist, use the BS, then S (super jump cancel) j.M j.M j.H j.S (land) runners start into torpedo Into QCF ultra (keep in mind that in UMVC3 if her ultra is used in the corner it now changes directions after the initial hit) after the ultra is finished you can follow up with and additional torpedo (and the first hit of another QCF ultra but it’s not worth the meter usage unless it will kill someone you want dead). After the last torpedo hits you have an amazing opportunity for resets. Pay attention to whether they recover forwards or backwards and you can dash in the appropriate direction and use a command grab or anti air ultra and if you follow them based on which way they recover I’m pretty sure it’s a guaranteed reset but don’t hold me to that.

Midsceen bnb damage =about 650k
c.M c.H s.S (super jump cancel up and forward) S (this particular S has to be hit asap then wait for opponent to land) BS c.M s.S (super jump cancel) j.M j.M j.H j.S (land) torpedo into QCF ultra and follow up with another torpedo. Again keep in mind the reset opportunity.

Airgrab reset follow up combo damage = about 550k:
RS, torpedo, RS, clothesline, RS, chariot, S,S (the first is to stop chariot the second is to launch)(super jump cancel) j.S, BS, c.M, S (super jump cancel) j.M j.M j.H j.S, torpedo, QCF ultra (you only get the first hit)

Granted these combos do not do tons of damage but the girl has 1.15 mill health you shouldn’t have trouble landing two combos unless your opponent is strictly better than you in which case it wouldn’t matter if she could deal one mill damage lol

And suggestions for optimization would be greatly appreciated

Hey my friends, do you like ToD combos? I love ToD combos, i have a good one for Combofiend’s Team (Shulk/Spenc/Task)
This one is Midscreen to corner or just corner

Do your She-Hulk Bnb, in my case L M H S j.M j.M j.H j.S torpedo relaunch j.M j.M j.H j.S (some small characters you have to do j.M j.H j.S)
Call Spencer, torpedo, clothesline (the combofiend stuff).
Raw tag Taskmaster, Charging star and cancel in sting Master. Jump and do a delay H aim master (the arrows) then do a Legion Arrow, (horizontall or diagonal, i think horizontal do more dmg), DHC spencer Manuevers and do the zig zag UVG, call Shulkie and do the UVG again, if you have another meter and you not kill the guy you can do another manuevers and a j. V Wire grapple for extra dmg. You can kill the entire cast with this combo :slight_smile:

Its good cause you can preserves the wallbounce and do UVGs after manuevers.

Keep doing the good job guys.

PS: I send this to Combofiend and Epicramen, i expect they do this on a video/tournament :smiley:

Edit: Of course, you can do whatever combo do you want (Queen’sBooty drop, EpicRamen’s Realunch and TAC, the important is, you have to send your oponnent to corner and do the clothesline)

Today i try hard to use my setup with other characters.
I find a way to combo after raw tag with:

Akuma: cr.H xx L tatsu and HC,DHC manuevers and follow up
Frank West: photo xx HC, DHC etc etc
Cap. America: H charging star then cancel to HC charging star, DHC (GREAT DMG)

I can’t find a way to follow up with Doom :frowning: his normals and specials are to slow… Maybe cr.L or M and some special into HC…

Sentinel’s taunt and rocket punch are too slow.
Maybe Dante and Vergil can do something, but i dont know how to play with those guys :frowning:

I hope all you try to find another follow ups with other characters.

In X-factor lvl2-3 after air throw -> torpedo you can follow with M,S without any cancel.

doom can do it, timing is everything when you try to raw tag with doom… instead of using a or b, try his s, thats how i get it to work.

So are there any solo combos superior to queens booty drop in terms of meter build and damage (other than the torpedo relaunch)? I love this character sooooo much but I’m also big on combos so her lack of options kills me.
Another thing is after emerald disaster I try to dhc into dante’s million dollars but if I start in corner (and the bootydrop combo goes almost from corner to corner) after disaster I dhc and normal it would hit but because she knocks them straight down I miss because dantes shots have a little gap in between him and the hitbox and the average size enemies go right in between the shots and dante which although hilarious is painfully annoying. Any advice?

I noticed this too, though i think you would be much better off with vergil, i don’t think spiral swords will whiff either…could you post your team and its options? if you play spencer along with she-hulk and and dante, you can try raw-tagging dante in to fix the dhc.
