If Mariel is working on both Skullgirls and Shantae then she needs to facilitate Shantae coming into Skullgirls as a guest fighter in late 2014 or 2015. I’m not even joking. Shantae has all the right moves to keep up with the other Skullgirls.
Just tell me how to get in touch with Mike Z and the Gang and WayForward. Meanwhile I need to get as many fan artists on board for this idea. All that crazy ass art during the Skullgirls campaign worked wonders and having Shantae VS Skullgirls fan pieces would be wonderful.

Whenever I see people suggest guest characters for Skullgirls I always wonder if they’ve forgotten that each character costs well over $200,000 to do.

Like I’m wondering if a Lab Zero - Wayforward connection might actually be to Wayforward’s benefit right now because the kickstarter for Shantae isn’t moving as zippily as it should. Who knows maybe Lab Zero and Wayforward could do a game together because of teaming up on adding Shantae.
And if not a game character maybe a guest spot in a background?
